I do nor feel sorry for myself about a diagnosis of All Leukemia. I am 65 and have had a happy life. I went directly from diagnosis to acceptance, I could have been killed in Vietnam or suffered a serious stroke. I might be bleeding out from a knife wound on the street or hit by a truck, perhaps a heart attack but I was not. I have worked with disabled children and adults. I have had a good life, so many are less fortunate than myself. I feel lucky, if this be my future, then so be it. To die in a soft bed is not so bad.
