RKM 101 the red wire is the mains 12 volt + the black is the negative- and the yellow wire is power that is live all the time so it doesn’t forget what channel you have the radio tuned in thats the plug on the bottom of the unit the 8 wires on the top unit go to each of your speakers if you only have 2 speakers you only need to wire 4 of the wires usually it’s the 4 wires in the centre of the block

ok I tested a little more and it seems to only want to reboot randomly while playing bluetooth mode. playing from sd/tf slot seems to work fine, but it still gets very toasty. Also the playlist function of the file explorer likes to tack on ALL the playable files it has found after the file you played, not just the files in the folder you selected. so if you have some questionable/unrelated videos you didn't intend on playing, you're better off not having them on the card altogether.

Yeah, for the price it's ok. I went from just a pos single computer speaker with no real bass to this so it's quite an upgrade. Not saying much but i got money's worth i'd say for the most part. It just needs new software, because that's it's achilles heel, so many annoying little bugs. Not just bugs but really ugly ui, like you adjust the volume and it's a big window that sits on the screen for another 10 seconds, as well as after hitting play after having paused, the play bar obscures half the screen and hangs around for a while. The usb to android feature doesn't seem finished. i have usb debugging on, i get some kind of control panel in the bottom left, but it's just a black screen and nothing happens besides the escape arrow to return to the menu. The only other major problem is the cpu or maybe the OS is just slow and can't keep 1080p videos synced with the audio worth a shit. Yeah you'll get the resolution but it's not as fluid and of course slowed down the more you play. But you don't really need 1080p on such a small screen anyway so just go with 720 or even less and you'll be fine i think. But stuff like gifs are a slideshow unfortunately. The bluetooth I think is only designed for short phone calls and not streaming songs with some buffer filling bitrate. It works ok in phonecalls so far as i have seen. It is nice to bluetooth with the phone for music and easier to select files, but perhaps instead of dealing with it's rage inducing reboots and skipping, could make it easier by using the included remote instead of the not so sensitive touch screen.

Not sure if typo on price or if Wallyworld bought a container ship full of those rascals but $8.99 no tax free shipping eta the 26th. I ordered two to verify advertised price and can confirm that’s what I was charged per unit if anyone else wants to grab one as backup or maybe terrific gift for under $10. Cheers!

It does work relly well with your cell phone I use it like that all the time u do jave to go to the debug mode and if u turn your cell side ways u get full screen. I have used maps and works great

hours? never had that happen. are you using it off bluetooth? because mine only reboots when i'm playing through that. try it off of the sd card, it doesnt shut off/reboot as far as ive seen.

nope im using usb ,,,,, it will work for a short while sometimes up to a hour .....then just switches off ...... nothing i do can get it to come back on eveb disconnecting it ,,,,,, the stereo just randomly will turn back on ...it sometimes is a short time but most time its hours ,,,,, i only got the stereo few days ago so could be faulty

You wire it wrong make sure the control it's connected to a constant energy power

Be sure to see the wiring diagram for your specific car, each car model and year is different. Make sure you follow the wiring closely, if you wire something wrong, the radio won't work perfectly or it could cause damage to the radio and/or car.

I’m pretty sure these things work with any car as long as you connect the wires correctly, but may not fit in terms of size for any car so you would need to check that and see if you need a frame or anything extra. Wire harness for your specific car is typically needed as well.
