I suggest you try "same length" irons, one of Bryson DeChambeau's things. I have found my swings have gotten much more consistent with essentially the same setup for all iron shots.

I’m loving this new feeling of the videos just for the sake of improvement. Hey you can be bad at reading greens and still make it if you have a caddie who can read them well. If you start any tour, bring on Stephen or Bubbie as your caddie. They would be good for you just for hype and energy reasons for Bubbie and Stephen just cause he is actually a pretty good putter and might be able to give you confidence in your stroke.

That was hypnotic. Looks to me like you pull it when you're not patient enough at the top and outrace your hands. When you're patient you hit smooth bombs on target. The last bit with the camera on the ground was awesome 😎

Rewatch the video and see where the club comes over top of your shoulder if its left or Right of your shoulder, You'll Learn a lot about your swing whether your closing the face when coming from the outside or if your coming from the inside and closing to soon. Or Coming for the outside and leaving alittle open.

You’re so committed and I love it but you probably won’t see this nor take this but I heard you were trying to get that swing plain down because you’re coming over the top and I would take a towel and stick it under my right arm pit and try and keep it in and tucked in the back swing. It keeps the swing plain lower. Hope this helps! Love the content!

Garrett try this Trevino tip, it works wonders for me when I'm putting an inconsistent ball flight out there and not striking the center of the club face consistently. During your range session work on keeping your trailing foot planted during impact. You'll develop more consistent power and speed through the ball as well as see a tighter ball dispersion pattern. I've found the drill works best on mid to long irons especially. I tried to find the link for you but I didn't see it out there. Peace.

I think your best three swings were from 9:08 to 9:23. Perfectly shallow, exactly what you've been working towards.

I tend to have the same problem with long irons, it seems like i subconsciously move closer to the ball when those clubs are in my hands. I try to create just a little more distance between me and the ball . at least for me this works, sliding my hands into that ideal window seems to be easier. Weather or not its the right move.. who knows lol

Try moving the ball slightly more forward. Helped me with my 3 and 4 irons.

Man, you have a great swing now you are coming more inside/ out! You should get a launch monitor for range sessions. Mevo, Rapasido or ES B1 are great for additional information.

Two things: 1) where are the fitted irons that you got? Did you get fitted and just never buy the clubs. 2) GET FITTED FOR A 2-IRON. I’m like you and can’t hit hybrids. The right 2-iron in your hands is a game changer though

I struggle with my 5 and 4 iron massively. The longer irons i can’t hit for my life! Tried a 2 iron a few times. Was so bad I vowed to never hit one again. Recently got fitted for new irons, and the changes where insane. Hopefully that will help me a ton with the longer irons! Are these the new irons you got fitted for? Just curious to see how you liked them compared to the others you used?
