Both attendees on the video know their subject and I respect their views. I consider Pepe to be one of the great geostrategic experts out there. Just to add to his statement that the US does not understand BRICS or see the trends one can expand on the latter statement in the meaning of the mutual defense plan between North Korea and Russia. This is a beginning of fitting a military element to BRICS similar to that of NATO for the inevitable clash with the West. I had the same idea about Palestine, but the problem is a number of countries aren't allowed in BRICS yet because they haven't fulfilled certain criteria yet, as I understand it, like Iraq. They should at least give these candidate status until they qualify.

It's like the 5 billion dollar arms deal between the UK & South Africa in 2002/3 . Why do they need them? is it just to join the big boys club?
