I think it's incorrect to see BRICS as anti-West. BRICS mainly creates alternative options for interested parties (its members are increasing), instead of "WB" , "IMF", "Washington Consensus"... If the West's influence is reduced due to BRICS, then it's side-effect, rather than its original goal.

I have always loved the work of Alex Krainer and found his substack blog extremely well-informed and often hugely enlightening. This is one of the best videos I've seen in ages. Mr. Krainer is thoroughly grounded in reality. He used the word "collateral" exactly as it functions in global finance.
