Oh yaaaay! It was me Blessing. I requested the video on verbs on the comment section of your previous video on "Yòrúba Òwe" (Proverbs). But even though I'm subscribed to your channel, only now did I see you actually made the video. Thank you so much for taking my request into consideration. You are such a sweetheart. O ṣeun mo dúpẹ́!

I feel like "ko" gets randomly substituted almost everywhere , and for any word. I understood it for negatives but i see it used everywhere and for everything which gets confusing. Love your videos! They're amazing! Great Job

Good to see you Blessing. Do you think it is possible to understand and not be able to speak? Or is it an insecurity thing?
@DiamanteBox
@DiamanteBox 4 жыл бұрын
It is possible as the two are slightly different skills but it is largely down to confidence, as if you know what the words for something are you could be able to speak but there are rules that will affect your ability to formulate sentences

what is the verb for "need"?
@DiamanteBox

Depends the context that you mean. If you need something, it’s nilo but if you’re saying you need to do something it’s Ni lati or gbodo

Yes usually a slight difference but also their actual tones could potentially change as the sentence changes. Generally. Mu (drink) is re and mu (take) is mi
