Hello Everyone!
Today I show you how to make a rock crusher using angle grinder. I used metal chain to make the rotating hammer for this homemade rock crusher. This hammer is attached to the angle grinder spindle. This homemade rock crusher machine is very cheap and simple to make at home. Rock can be very fastly grinded with this homemade machine. This angle grinder hack works good. Turn the bolts round on the front flange. Weld the bolts to the drum and hold the front flange on with nuts. In the set up you have the excess thread on the bolts will be damage by the rocks flying round inside and you'll never get them undone

@@DiamleonDiyBuilds Just shorten the bolt so it does not protrude out through the bottom of the nut , then weld a cap on the bottom of the nut 🤷‍♂ Simple fix and a cleaner look ! Great idea 💡i going to build a bigger version for making granite test & layout plates 😀

be careful about inhaling the dust - rock dust will give you silicosis and irreversibly destroy your lungs slowly and painfully before killing you. great build and im hoping your next one is an ice cream maker!

Great job. It’s a beautiful crusher. I have one the same size and build but I have a 6.5 hp motor on it. I had no idea that a grinder would be strong enough to power it.

You may have issues with the rock wrecking your threads reverse the bolts so heads are inside and nuts are on outside but it may not be a prob either just trying to help great job by the way🎉🎉🎉

Interesting project, BUT if you need to replace the grinder, then maybe instead of welding those diagonal braces to the drum, bolting them, would have been a better thought? Thumbs up just the same for your interesting videos, thank you for this.

Thank you man. In this setup the angle grinder can be removed and replaced easily. Just by removing the two bolts and the grinder spindle from the shaft.

Esa idea ya está probada y funciona muy bien pero no con una amoladora de 115 mm que puede durar uno o dos días , además no tiene fuerza suficiente porque no fue diseñada para eso , yo hice una similar pero más grande , el eje central de 30 mm en un buje tenía soldados tres eslabones de cadena de 10 mm de espesor y cada dos cadenas un trozo de elástico de suspensión de camionetas , en total eran tres líneas de cadenas para poder balancear el peso en total eran 18 trozos de cadenas de tres eslabones c/u y 9 trozos de elásticos , la fuerza motriz la daba un motor a explosión estático de 16 HP en lugar de perforar el cilindro llevaba placas de acero inoxidable de 4 mm perforadas e intercambiables con distintos tamaños de perforación la entrada del material ingresaba por arriba con una curva de 90 grados divididas en dos para que no se frene ni rebote el material , la salida de la manga era goma a un cm de la canaleta por donde corría agua para separar el oro de la arena , procesaba una tonelada en 8 hs , espero que le sirva mi experiencia , saludos cordiales desde Catamarca Argentina

Why does everyone use their chop saw on the floor? It seems like every DIY video involving welding has a chop saw that has to be used on the floor. I’m a fabricator and I build stands for all my stationary power tools. There’s an idea for a video, “Building A Chop-Saw Stand-Say Goodbye to using the saw on the floor!!!”

Could it be that he wants to have it more 'portable' and also, maybe cramped for space? P.S. I've always had my saw left on the floor, to help keep the material being cut at a safe level too. I guess there could be may thoughts on this.

Keeping the chop saw in the floor is very much comfortable to me. In case of heavy metals it is very hard to lift the material to the height. So I'm using it on the floor.

Useless vdo... Most of the time is wasted in showing welding, grinding, drilling, nut fitting and nut removing, gasket fitting on each bolt hole ... You should have shown actual assembly and the machine working.
