THE APPLE PEN REFERENCE 😭😭

Hi minori, there is actually glue that is specifically for this type of freestyle Diamond painting. It’s called dotz stick from Diamond dotz (there are other brands like DAC that just started selling it, but I have used the Dotz stick, so know it’s an great option) and you’ll have to leave it until it dries clear. After it does, it’s the sticky just like any Diamond painting with poured glue is, preventing the drills from sliding until regular glue dries. I personally prefer the glue, as double sided tape can yellow over time and can lose stickiness faster then the glue does.

Minori! I never comment on videos, but I just loved watching this one so much. Diamond art painting is so time consuming, but 20 minute videos fool you into thinking its not. So i thought it was really special how you showed us a little about what you do outside of your art (and the importance of taking breaks). The firework festival looked so beautiful! I love how you're starting to embrace your natural face. I've also stopped wearing makeup, and haven't in about a year. So i really support that (your skin will thank you lol)

I haven't seen one of Minori's videos in so long but it was definitely worth the wait. Minori is so wise and patient, if this was me doing this I would be screaming for the tiniest mistake

I’ve missed Baymax so much. Big Hero 6 is my all-time favourite CGI Disney movie, so I loved that you had such an enormous one hanging out with you! I hope he can come back soon. Your channel is the reason I got into diamond art painting. I knew I couldn't do actual painting, or any art honestly, and diamond art seems accessible for the non-creative. I am truly impressed by this whole video, I never would’ve thought to make one on glass. But after hearing so I was like, “that’s so Minori.” I also thought it was a great way to reuse her character from the sticker making video she posted last summer. If you’re ever looking for a new project, I might suggest painting on a tree cookie. (Leaving the wood texture as the background.)

Oh, putting the pattern behing glass or plastic seems like a great way to adapt cross-stitch patterns to diamond art. (If anyone's not familiar with the history with diamond art painting, it was created from cross stitch patterns and the color codes for cross-stitch and diamonds are actually the same (not including extended color sets like metallic thread and rhinestone duamonds.

I haven't stopped by in a while but I LOVED this video: 1. Such a creative idea and stunning result! 2. I enjoyed the moments of wisdom and self reflection shared while actually doing the diamond painting 3. I lived in Japan for 8 years, so it was lovely to see some moments from hanabi again 4. It's great you don't feel compelled to wear make up every day now, and actually didn't notice the difference. You are beautiful with or without make up imo. 5. I've done a few on glass, I place my glass on top of a light pad, makes it soo much easier to see the numbers. The AB drills work soo well on glass, I've done a few butterflies and flowers.

I do a similar thing using cardboard. I create a design, print onto card-stock, and then put double sided tape on the top of the print. When finished I frame or put into a display folder. A great way to use up left over beads.

I also really love the floating effect you got. It's perfect!

I really love your diamond art videos, and this one was so amazing! I love thinking out the box too! Im doing a large stamped cross stitch, but im doing on a denim jacket. I tried it on a smaller scale and it worked fine, you do have some of the white adia left on the edges but it’s not so bad.

Diamond Dotz/Diamond Painting really helped me when my mom passed away two years ago. I have done about 6 different diamond painting canvases in the two years. I am working on a couple right now. But I have to agree that Diamond Painting really is relaxing. When I am doing them, I am always thinking of the memories of my mom and think about how much she would have loved to do diamond painting. I like to throw a movie or a tv show that I have seen a million times so that I can focus on listening to the show and doing the diamond painting. But, I do take breaks every so often and watch the show for a moment to give my neck a rest. And I also agree that darker colors do have a brighter shine to them. You also have to have the patience to do them. I guess I am the only one in my family who does have the patience to work on these time consuming projects. Hope to see more diamond painting videos in the future!

Oooh! 😍 This would be great to add a border or some accents to mirrors! ❤ There's a mirror spray paint that turns glass into a mirror! So you can make the diamond art first and spray paint the back to turn it into a mirror!

Okay I love the tray system, I’m working on a Dimond painting which has over a hundred different colours, it’s is huge but I’m using square diamonds I have used the round ones but did not like the way it showed the poster used, since changing to the square diamonds I love the finished look I get as I have been doing landscapes. I think if doing it on glass the round ones are the best choice, you could put a light behind it and turn it into a night light, I would not use it as a stain glass window as the sticky plastic could fail over time. I’m going to look for the trays system as that is perfect, but need ones that close up when not used.

this was really cool putting diamond art on the glass. it makes me wish i had one of those decorative glass door window pieces that are either clean or have a stain color glass flower design. i wonder how it would look if diamond art was added to something like that and if it got super sparkly when the sun light goes through it.
