This song is perfect for the Red War arc of the story. We lost our Light and were so weak that a Dreg or Thrall could have killed us if they tried hard enough, but we forced our way fought our way through the Dark Forest and came out stronger for it.

Diamond Eyes. Might as well be a phrase for a state of mind where one takes into account all of their surroundings at once while still going in guns blazing. Very few Guardians would have reached this status, but those who have would be damn hard to beat due to their borderline supernatural reaction speed, even towards unknown threats.
