Hello my friends! WOW! Have I've got a fun card fold for you today! It's called a Diamond Flip and it makes a gorgeous, impressive card. We’ll be using a set of scalloped oval dies, as well as a stamp and matching die set, and beautiful paper from the CTMH Cardmaking Workshop Kit "Serenity" .

Diamond Flip Fold Card
Card Base 4 1/4” x 11” Scored at 2 1/8” & 5 1/2” on 11" side
Turn to 4 1/4" side and make a pencil mark at 2 1/8"
Fold card in half and cut diagonally from 2 1/8" pencil mark to 2 1/8" score line
Front & Inside Blue Mats (3) 3 1/4" x 4 1/8"
Front & Inside Patterned Mats 3 1/8” x 4”
Front Blue Diamond Square Mat (2) 2 7/8"
Cut 1 on diagonal for inside
Front Patterned Diamond Square Mat (2) 2 3/4”
Cut 1 diagonally for inside
(1) 3" x 4" Oval for inside sentiment &
(2) Ovals for Front Sentiment & Shadow

I love fun fold cards and I love this one. Such a simple fold but makes a beautiful card. The pattern paper you used is so pretty. Something about navy and white is just so pretty together.

This could be a graduation card by making the square on the front into a graduation cap with a tassel.

The mat measurements did not work for me. Not sure what was up with that. I adjusted and I love the card ‼️

@@cardcrazy09 Found my mistake: I cut the base card at 4.5 instead of 4.25‼️‼️‼️‼️. You have both measurements. 4.5 and then when doing the pencil Mark, 4.25. So I’m trying 4.25 today cause I love this!

Thanks for the lovely card ideas, Mary! I love how easy this is. My bday card stash is also low and I'm working on filling it up! May I ask if you glued the front diamond down to the card? Mine kept flapping, so I decided to go ahead and glue it, but wasn't sure if you did or not. Thanks again!

Mary. I’m looking for a cartridge that will cut the border feature with an equal amount of scallops to whatever size is chosen. Do you happen to know of a cartridge that does this? I have a vague memory of you talking about this at some point. Thank you for sharing you talent with us.

Hi Connie! Thanks so much for watching! The cartridge is "Just Because Cards" and you'll find scalloped borders that cut the size you choose on pages 39, 42 & 46. Have fun!
