We joined Diamond Offshore on-board their Ocean GreatWhite Semi Submersible Drilling rig as final preparations took place, before departing for Shetland on it's first drilling campaign.
The OGW is the world's largest semi-sub Drilling rig and we speak with key personnel ahead of it's first drilling campaign whilst docked at Kishorn Port, Scotland.

I now have to thank Diamond offshore for being so understanding of the problem we were experiencing in Tenerife. We called them and in few minutes the noise stopped. Thank you so much

It's nice to see the real ppl who do this hard job everyday! Great Skills and knowledge.Scuba diving,fishing and weather experts too!Computers and precision like a surgeons hands to make something connect so carefully.Prepared for anything they need to do for safety.It's a bit of fresh air from these scammers trying to be oil engineers,riggers.They do not have a clue what the job is about.No wonder you can read between the lines of these fakes.Trying to give you men and women a bad name.I know you all probably read about the scammers everyday. Trying to take ppl for money,gift cards,cryptocurrency,etc.Wish all the scammers would get caught! Your profession is very important and not everyone could do that job! Kudos to all of you that brave those heights,waves,weather,sharks and conditions out there!😃🙏

Hi David, on behalf of hundreds of residents in El Medano (Tenerife, Canary Islands) please can you reach out to Diamond and let them know that there is an entire town suffering from incessant low frequency vibrations generated by your rig? thank you!

@@MB-hd2qk I’m no longer a shareholder, Diamond Offshore has been a negative investment right from the get go and had cut my losses shortly after I wrote my original comment. Sorry to hear what your town is going through with the trembling noises / vibrations....would call the company to complain!!!!

As a neighbour of Tenerife where this rig is harboured for about a year now, almost everyday and night disturbing the neighbourhood with noise and vibrations I ask you to STOP it now. We can’t sleep. Our doors, windows, even our bodies vibrate. People are getting sick here. And all because this rig keeps its generators on 24/7.

Please leave Tenerife! Dear owners of the Ocean GreatWhite rig, on behalf of all the residents of the El Médano (Granadilla de Abona) in Santa Cruz de Tenerife in the Canary Islands, we really need you to know that your rig is making life in our beautiful town an absolute nightmare. It is possible that you have not been informed of all the issues that the local residents are having. Numerous residents are suffering from sleep deprivation, tinitus, anxiety and some properties are even showing cracks in walls that are appearing. Your rig is generating a never ending low frequency vibration which is impossible to escape from. We beg you to turn of whatever machines are generating these vibrations or that you relocate elsewhere! thank you!
