Wow! Your finishes for this year are just so beautiful. You’ve gotten so much accomplished in 2023, Lisette. And believe me, there is no reason to be humble when it comes to that huge J. Wall conversion piece. Her images are intricate enough and have so many color changes that doing it from a Crosstitch pattern is unbelievable. Thank you so much for sharing all of your finishes with us!

Enjoyed the review of your completions. I missed this so had to come back to it. I do have “the fortune teller”. I had to get it after you showed it completed and I have several more of that artists paintings. Awesome set of finishes. Mandie is one of my favorites too. I am so proud of you!! And you have given me great inspiration!! Such beautiful finishes. I’m thinking it is Jolie Fleur. The rendering of that canvas is amazing!! The hair and her eyes. Wow. (Finish 10). The next one is wowsi amazing as well. To be truthful I don’t even know why I am picking here and there. They are all gorgeous!! So much work in these past two years for sure. When I first subscribed to you, you were cleaning out a guest room. And moving all of your diamond paintings. (I think I am remembering correctly). Not long after that you had made the notebook for your journey to detox and destash. The one part that disheartens me is the fact that DAC’s drills were a little iffy in their older kits. Hence that most of my stash… older kits. Lol. I am just picking. Thank you for hanging in there and I am in awe of the complexity of your completions. You truly stuck in there. I could keep going just because what you have accomplished is crazy, wild amazing!! I will stop now. Lol. You are almost there…. You go girl. I can’t wait to see once your goal is reached, what you will choose to do next! ❤❤❤❤

What a fun video:) I took a break from DP. You talk about art therapy, that is why I am back. Lost my dog companion unexpectedly. So I pulled out Mandie Manzano’s “All Dog’s Go To Heaven” to help me work through my grief. Glad I get to be along for the ride while you complete your detox!

I am so incredibly impressed with your dedication and willpower to complete your detox. I just started diamond painting in May and have already accumulated 61 kits (4 completions, 5 WIPs). I really should follow your lead!! I think I would need more loopholes though. I am weak LOL

Take as many loopholes as you want. My detox is a Little extrême - I really didn’t know it was going to be this challenging Lol. I do think that everyone buys thé most DP’s in the first year. So there’s a win already. Keep me updated okay? Happy New Year

Hi Lizette! Good for you sticking with your goal. I certainly have bought a lot less from your example. ❤️ There are three from your finishes that I love. The first ⭐️ (hockey fan 🏒) is I Miss You. This one has a lot of meaning for me and I have asked to be notified when DAC restock it. Haven’t bought anything from DAC for awhile but this one is worthy of owing. Seeing it finished makes me want to do it in honour of my Gram; she raised me and I still miss her. The second ⭐️ is Mini Lucky, absolutely beautiful and so much detail. The third ⭐️ is the Blue Vase…blue is my favourite colour and this is so stunning. The background looks pretty cool! Looking forward to seeing what you have left. Have a great week! 🥰💎🌝 🍀💙

Just in case you want to do another cross stitch conversion, there is an app now for apple devices (Markup R-XP). It worjs great, I am working on a Mini Randal Spangler conversion „Nap Time“ from Heaven and Earth Designs (thanks to your explanations on how to do that) and I am loving it! 😃 As usual, lovely video! 😃👍🏼

Have you considered art journal display books to store your finished work.? I find this a good way for storage and showing others what you have been working on. I can also store the ones not started yet. Makes finding the canvas images a lot easier. You can print a cross stitch chart onto card-stock and then put double sided adhesive on top to create a sticky base. If you are framing, it is an alternative to blank canvas purchase and counting each drill etc. You can join the card-stock after printing to make image fit together.

Das Vorhaben und das Durchhaltevermögen sind sehr beeindruckend und inspirierend. Mein Lager ist auch sehr sehr gut gefühlt und ich habe ebenso begonnen nur noch bestimmte Künstler zu kaufen wo man weiß das es sie nur kurz gibt. Beeindruckend fand ich Josephine Wall und I miss you. Wir alle haben in unserem hier sein schon Abschiede hinnehmen müssen die mehr als schwer fallen. Ich glaube im neuen Jahr werde ich auch mal ein manzano painten genügend sind ja auf meinem Lager. Eine schöne besinnliche Adventszeit und vorallem schön gesund bleiben. Liebe Grüße

Verder in het Nederlands nog even: ik vind het zo knap dat je ze allemaal hebt afgerond, ook al stonden een paar je zo tegen of was het een hoop werk. Echt top 👍💪 nog een paar te gaan. Raar idee zeg. En daarna is de keuze reuze (bij het bestellen) 😁😜 zet 'm op en vooral veel plezier weer met painten 💗

Hi Cristina - I would recommend taking a look at all your current wip’s. Select two or three of them that have a lot of contrast (for exemple square/rounds, color pattern, theme) and start working on those two/three alternatively - so you don’t get bored that easily. Once you finished one of them ..treat yourself by selecting another one of your wip’s to continue on…then..once you finish the next (so second of the original start wip’s or the added wip after finishing the first wip) allow yourself a new start. I think in the long run this Will help. You get to finish Some of your wip’s and you keep the thrill of getting to start new ones quite often. Be sure to let me know how it works out.

I love parade videos. Currently I am working on "Gypsy Fortunteller' by Craftibly. I'm 1/3rd finished. it is A LOT of work. I really admire your detox series and applaud you for doing it and sticking to it. Can't wait to see what you buy when that starts again.

I Love watching videos like this but I really wish when reading off the sizes most do the centimeters and it would be Awesome if it was followed by inches! Some of us just don't know centimeters! LoL...😆🤣😁

Hi Rachel - for me it comes easy because Here in France we don’t do inches…so therefore it never occurs to me to state the inches - sorry - I’ll try to include that in the futur if it’s stated on the canvas. Thanks for bringing it to my attention 🥰

Hi Lisette! I am in awe of how many DPs you are able to complete in a year! Quick question, how do you seal your paintings with the popping drills? What do you use? Has it held up over time?

Hi Susan - thank you. I use mod podge- I think I’ve linked it in the ‘seal’ video I did of my DPD Jwall. It has held up till now.
