Great ship tour and video. We were on the Diamond Princess (Japan Cruise out of Yokohama) in 2016 and will be going on this ship again this month (April 2023) on a very similar itinerary this month!

It still seems to be a result of Covid. If one or two members of the performing company on board has to quarantine, the show does not go on. But we’ve had some substandard entertainment lately, also. Thank you for your comments and thank you for subscribing to our channel.

This brought back memories. My wife & I took a land/sea tour on Sapphire Princess (sister to the Diamond - essentially the same layout) 10 years ago for our 35th. Gotta say, that deck atop the bridge was da-bomb for watching the inside passage scenery go by.

We were on Princess to Alaska about 26 years ago to Alaska. We loved it but much smaller ship. Since then we have only sailed with Viking and Oceania. I don’t know if I would even like Princess anymore. This ship is huge, and it seems like there are a lot of upcharges for just about everything now. Where can you eat that is included with your fare?

We sailed Princess to Alaska about 30 years ago on the old Golden Princess. It was about a third the size of the ships that are sailing now for Princess. The smaller ships are usually much much expensive. Thank you for your comments and thank you for. Subscribing to our channel.

The Diamond Princess was a beautiful ship but I didn't like the fact that a standard balcony cabin only had seating for one person, a chair. Every other cruise line I've been on, the standard balcony cabin had seating for at least two and most times three.

The Lotus Pool is free, but it’s adults only. You might have to enter it from Sports Deck 16.
