I can't imagine anybody complaining about those Real Ghostbusters figures, but I guess that's a thing... For me personally, I don't think I have ever wanted a series of figures THIS much! They are AMAZING looking! All due accolades to Diamond Select, man. Cuz they are friggin' incredible!

...Got to admit I was disappointed to see the reused bodies, doesn't really work for me. But everything else about them looks great.

Gio 0397 Yep, it's a good series. The hardback editions are nice too. I'm keeping an eye on the Mezco Ghostbusters, think they'll be the best in this scale and would look nice next to these too, since they're so different.

Print Rabbit I can understand being a mite disappointed by the re-used bodies. But, it really isn't an issue for me. As, I remember back when news of their eventually doing the Real Ghostbusters as part of the line first broke, (which might have been on one of Dan's videos), and I'd posted a comment asking whether they would be reused bodies, which I assumed they would, or not. And Zack of Diamond Select actually personally replied, assuring that that would indeed be the case, along with brand new sculpts for the heads and accessories. So, with that already being the expectation, it wasn't a let down, for me.

Mattel was supposed to do these a couple years back, probably got canned after the ecto 1 and subscription failed.

@ William Alsbrooks, yes I remember when Mattel announced the Real Ghostbusters line which was quickly canceled after the Ecto 1 failed to meet the required number of pre-orders and the subscription service also failed in sales. As a die hard Ghostbusters fan, I was pretty disappointed when that happened. Thankfully DST has done a great job with Ghostbusters so far( I still need a majority of the First series to complete the diorama) and I am looking forward to getting both the GB2 and Real Ghostbusters action figures for my collection.

Those RGB figures look like the intro theme art. In those old 80’s and 90’s cartoons , they always poured a lot of money into the intro. It’s very detailed and looks better than the whole cartoon.

The Deadpool/Cable/Domino triptych looks like one of the best statue series Diamond select has ever done. Wish I could afford all three before scalpers hit.

2-19-2018 I came, I saw, and found the Real Ghostbusters! Hopefully those figures have way better plastics and QC, than the movie versions. Please make an Ecto-1.

Great video. Those Real Ghostbusters look amazing. I've always liked the walk through video because you get some good insight from the reps and more details than they can place on a little name card. Any chance you might have spoken with someone at Mezco's booth?

Cool interview by Zach. I love that guy. Wanted some more marvel select figures but what they showed was so well sculpted and i love the diorama for Ghostbusters. Was hoping Pacific Rim would have a build a base base but otherwise solid. Kaiju looks killer.

Question: If RGB Jeanine in the works and is based on the Laura Summer's incarnation (pre-Q5), what version of her in the jumpsuit would they make? There's at least three different versions from Sandman, Dream Me a Dream, Janine's Genie and Janine Melnitz, Ghostbuster.

John Wick? Awesome! I also love that Ghostbusters stuff. I'll definitely be interested in some of the REAL Ghostbusters ghosts if they start releasing those. Creatures like Drool The Dog-faced Goblin, Cthulhu (Cathulhu on the show) and his Star Spawn and Hob Anagarak, would all be awesome to have.

I guess we’ll never get that 3rd Marvel Zombies villain. We got the trio zombie heroes with their base, but only Zombie Sabretooth and Zombie Magneto. When you put those two bases together it’s obvious there was an intended 3rd figure that was never made.

Thanks for the reply. Is it true that Disney has restricted the use of Marvel Zombie Heroes? I've heard that they will not approve the production of any memorabilia which represents super heroes as evil zombies; including the possibility of reissuing the original Zombie Spidey, Hulk, and Colonel America.
