When the audio/video came out, I wanted a duet between the two... and here they are: Diana and Brandon performed the song 'The Day When You...' at the main New Year's concert on December 17, 2023 at the MTC Live hall. The two voices fit together very well. Diana is becoming more and more beautiful. She looks very elegant and charming in this dress and as always her voice sends shivers of joy through my body. * Brandon Stone (stage name), *1980 in Tbilisi, Georgia. He is a singer, multi-instrumentalist, composer, lyricist and arranger. Brandon is also a professional jazz pianist and a top-notch producer. His musical life began at the age of 3 with piano lessons. In 1997 he began studying jazz pianism at the music academy 'Hans Eisler' in Berlin/ Germany (he lived there with his parents). After twenty years in Germany and a few years in the USA, he now lives in Russia with his wife and two children. Brandon Stone prefers an interesting mix of styles both as a composer and as a singer (jazz/soul/pop). His melodic songs as well as high technique, emotional intensity and honesty of performance, his wonderful voice (3.5 octaves) and charm helped Brandon Stone to become popular in many European countries, America and Commonwealth of Independent States. He sings in Russian, English, German, Spanish, French, Hebrew and Georgian. Брэндон Стоун это просто англизированный псевдоним. Он вообще грузин по происхождению и просто какое-то время зарабатывал денежку и Испании и где-то еще. Но он великолепный и нестандартный оранжировщик, хороший композитор и превосходный певец.

Or i would say that the event was worthy of this performance. Unfortunately for you Diana can no longer sing crow, she has been forbidden to do that by the original singer.

@@user-qm6it7rp6h Because Linda the original singer acquired the full rights to the song last year and she pulled the copyrights laws saying that if Diana continued to sing this people would not know which is the original. Well this shows two things to me, the pettiness of Linda and how much better is Diana's cover compared to the original... This is a 90s song, Linda could very well act classy and pass the mantle so that her song live on but no she just had to react this way.

Thank you for the swift reply! Why only single out Diana? Haven’t others sung her song? Pettiness indeed though I think it’s a problem in general for the original artists when Diana covers a song. I didn’t even know who the original artist of the song was so Linda should have been happy it was revived in this way

@@user-qm6it7rp6h This was a big hit in Russia back in the day and in the global scale it came out before Madonna's "Frozen", (i am positive that you know the song). Back then it was insinuated that "Frozen" had a lot of similarities with "Crow" and many people expressed the opinion that it was even plagiarized. So it WAS a huge song in the 90's and that is more of a reason to revive this old classic through a very young EXTREMELY competent artist like Diana so that the next generations would vibe with it too. But class is rarer than jealousy.

To give the benefit of the doubt to Linda maybe it was a decision by her producer (the very same kinds that many want Diana to sign with where class is not in their dictionary). In this respect the artist has little to no say at all. If I may since you brought up class which Diana embodies and we are on a reactionary’s channel 2 things are very disappointing. 1) that nobody comments on the fact that Diana in a duet controls her power out of respect for her duet partner and 2) I have seen a number of vocal coaches also confuse her voice with for example Julia’s or like this reactionary who says the voices with Brandon go well because you can’t tell them apart or some nonsense like that. It really makes me scratch my head. All of Diana’s duet partners are wonderful singers but it is disingenuous to say that you can’t tell the voices apart. If you close your eyes and the others sing, without knowing who it is, you cannot guess. But Diana opens her mouth and even if you shut your eyes and plug your ears you can tell who is singing. It is great that Diana gets exposure this way but the truthfulness is lacking now

Thanks for your support to Diana. The duet was both vocally and visually nice. But I have to inform you that all the performances in this show was lip-sync. Therefore, this particular performance was lip-sync, too.
