This performance is WHY I loved and became a fan of DIANA’s the original version had at least 78 million but at least her dedicated fan (KWSTAS) has made a copy for all of us to re-watch now and then. The SONG is FRENCH and the original singer is INDILA. DIANA was only 15’ at the time and her solo performance with her beautiful unique vocals is truly STUNNING. Thank you for reacting to this full version…I appreciate it. 🙋🏻‍♀️❤️‍🔥🎼🇺🇸

We would also like to understand what she is singing about, but we don't. If it was in Russian or English yes, but in French, no chance. The only words I understood were Paris and Dance. 😂

Although she may only speak Russian to this day. She has sung in Russian, English, French, Spanish, German, and Arabic.

One of my favorites by her is from the "Show Mask Go On" entitled "Oh' It's Not Yet Evening" kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mcyEnLScr9iwmWQ.html. It's an over 300 year old folk song about a Cossack warrior who dreams of his death in an imminent battle. On Diana's face you see sadness, anxiety and pain of the soul of the Cossack warrior. One would swear she borrowed that soul to perform the song. I'm not sure how many people appreciate the emotional gasps she produces here that absolutely melt me.
