The song "Where the Motherland Begins" was written in 1968 by composer Benjamin Basner to the words of Mikhail Matusovsky. It was used in a four-part feature film directed by Vladimir Basov, Shield and Sword. The other people in the video are Diana's own family: her grandmother, mother, sister and nephew (her sister's son).

I am pleased to see you recognize this and speak correctly about this very special young artist. And yes, you are correct about the degradation of society and values in the West. Множество простых людей , да и блогеров немало , кто после просмотра песен Дианы стали интересоваться Россией , как тут всё устроено , как люди живут , о чём думают . Диана сближает людей , заставляет узнать что-то новое для себя , понять чем живут люди в других странах. Спасибо Диане , что она даёт толчок к новым знаниям , к проявлению интереса и в итоге к пониманию друг друга. Диана по сути человек МИРА , созидатель и проводник добра в нашем мире.

Дух захватило. I would love to visit your beautiful country and see and hear Diana in person. I will have to save up a lot of money to go because of the stupid and basically evil sanctions that the west imposed, including my country, USA on Russia. I can only speak for myself as an American but the majority (not by much) did not vote for this evil brain dead president. This election was stolen from us. In my opinion, I say Russia, especially if you live in the countryside and remote places. Terrorists tend to target urban areas. The only place I can think of in the US is in the remote areas of Alaska. The lower 48 may be invaded by terrorists who are coming through the open border. There are Christian countries in the southern part of Africa who are determined not to let Muslims into their countries.
