A carefree youth came to an abrupt end with the death of her mother (1910) and the outbreak of revolution and civil war (1917-1922). She was unprepared for the world outside. Her assets will be confiscated as “non-work income.” In 1912 she married Sergei Efron; They had two daughters and later a son. Efron fighted against the Bolschewiki, and Tsvetaeva was separated from him during the Civil War.
