Beautiful old Cossack song about a foreboding dream of a soldier, foretelling his death in battle.... also known as "The Cossack's Parable" or as "Stepan Razin's Dream"......when he tells his Captain, the Captain tells him " Yes, you will die on the battlefield " ...........2023 and this woman is even more impressive........

This may be my favorite of Diana Ankudinova’s SMGO performances. It’s so beautiful and devastating. This show had a cool format. There were nine artists participating, and they all performed each week and gave feedback to one another. At the end, they assigned points to each other each other’s performances. Nothing really depended on the points: no one got kicked off the show, and there was no big prize at the end for the winner. They quickly realized Diana was the star. Diana was credited with helping create a friendly atmosphere in the group, and there is more and more comeraderie as the show progressed. You can see all the others supporting and encouraging Diana.

Diana brought that Cossack warrior to the hall to tell about his feeling and when she comes back to us she sheds tears and then smiles there is no singer who can reach this rank even Pelagia a great singer she sings the song but from a different perspective but Diana surpasses everyone

Have you seen Diana perform, As Your Voice at the Slavic Arts Festival ? During the pandemic, only judges and a few people present but top notch sound quality. Absolutely beyond anything I have experienced. Good luck 👍 ,should find it on her channel. Several performances and fan videos on this one song alone. I'll try to link it

Корректнее было бы сказать - исполняет ... по-другому. В подаче Пелагеи: говорит о том, что может произойти/о предполагаемом событии. В прочтении Дианы: речь о неизбежности того, что произойдёт. =Как-то так считываю посылы обеих. В основе одна и та же песня, но две разные истории - в этом сила и прелесть, как песни, так и двух замечательных артистов ))

Пелагея с самого детства занимается народной песней и она намного старше, а Диана еще не определилась со стилем и для нее это,своего рода,эксперимент,с которым она отлично справилась.Ничуть не хочу умалить заслуги Пелагеи,она великолепная певица,но Диана ничуть не хуже,просто они разные!

Thanks for the reaction. this dramatic composition is hard to perform. The Cossack warrior of the Cossack army had a dream that he would soon be killed in battle with enemies. DIANA ANKUDINOVA brilliantly performed this composition: on her face you see sadness, anxiety, pain of the soul for the Cossack warrior. DIANA is strong not only for her fantastic VOICE, but also for her magnificent ARTISM. This is a dramatic song, so when it is sung or listened to in Russia, laughter is inappropriate! Look at the audience and the judges, everyone has serious faces.

This song is an ancient song but to see some things first the facial expressions it explains her greatness her eyes are glassy the reason is she is not in the hall she is on the battlefield she is the same warrior who dreamed she brings the feeling of that warrior! Fear, crying and more and at the end of the song she sheds tears and comes back to us, this is something that no singer in the world can do!!!!! But those who hear well hear another voice accompanying Diana, so Diana herself plays the accompanying voice, and this arouses great respect for Diana
