Diana has quite a few covers of famous hits, but it's impossible to predict what it will look like, and a surprise is guaranteed at the first listening. That is one of my favorite things. The Art Of The Cover Song. So often they are done identical to the original, I love when someone really changes up a classic song like this. I can tell that just about any cover I hear her do will be quite a bit different from the original, and that I find exciting.

She first sang this song here at ShowMaskGoOn 2021, her first competition as an adult. This show gave her a great platform to show her diversity. At the end of the show, Igor Krutoy was the guest juror, who paved the way for Diana in 2018 as a juror in the “You are Super” competition and supported her. In this episodes as well as in the previous episodes (judge: Olga Kormukhina and Larisa Dolina) Diana had to carry a greater burden than the others and she mastered these challenges with flying colors. Maestro Krutoy called her a unique singer and all of her colleagues give her the victory on the show with all their hearts and wish her all the best for her future career. Depeche Mode is an English synth-rock or synth-pop group. Founded 1980 in Basildon (Essex), England, Depeche Mode is one of the most influential bands in music history. Greetings from Scotland! Interesting commentary guys! Fun fact - Diana wasn't really "there" during this entire live performance. As is common for Diana, she has a very interesting technique she often "allows". Let me explain, before this performance she wasn't feeling too great, so she made the decision to allow the song to take full control of her body and soul! She remembers very little of the performance or the comments afterwards, until she returned to sit with the other contestants afterwards. I guess you could almost class this as a possession by the song? Take a look at her face and body language, especially at the end - that ain't 18yo Diana! However, this is one of her strengths and always results in something very special. Not quite channelling demons, but something even better! The song gets sung as it was really intended to be sung. To say Diana is a unique singer is an understatement, she was born with the full equipment to be spectacular, a unique larynx and pharynx plus a large oral cavity. She has a natural ability to perform vocal athletics that other singers will never have. Diana is not even close to half her full potential yet - "watch this space" guys! It is impossible not to admire Diana. She is completely absorbed in music, she lives in music, completely surrendering to the image she created, reincarnating and playing in it. We can see how much she is passionate about this art, gets high and enjoys what is happening. Yes, the stage is her element!!! Thank you for your reaction to Diana Ankudinova and I like it.

Great reaction! This performance was from a Russian show that aired last fall, and ran for 9 weeks. There were 9 singers who were also the judges and critiqued each other. There were 9 genres of music they had to perform over the course of the show. Thus Diana sang in many different styles. Another song to listen to: The song is Bopoha (Varona) - The Crow, and is from the same show she was participating in. BTW, a "white crow" in Russian is someone who stands out from everyone else, in a positive way. I urge you to watch her performance of Rechenka at age 14 on the You Are Super show (for underprivileged artists). It is regarded by many as a MASTERPIECE of performance art, and the best performance ever given by a teenager on a Russian talent show. Here is the link kzfaq.info/get/bejne/nKuTqbl6s6eXYGg.html.
