She seems overpowered here, but it's all just the basic elements, with almost no control over them. Sure she can blow people away and make fancy fires but she sort of just farts everything out and a simple punch would have knocked her out. I don't think she repeated any of these energy outbursts in Season 2. There she learns precision and control over the essence of each element, not focusing on the actual 'visible' element itself.

During s1 her mqgic was still bound so it makes sense that she had no control. Only it is not "basic elements". As they said no witch has summoned a magic wind for centuries. And while all witches have one element, Diana has them all.

SPOILER ... ... During season 1 and the beginning of season 2 she uses spells of others and the ways in which others do magic + her magic is bound. In season 2 later she discovers that she is ‘weaver’ - a creator of new spells. She basically creates spells on the go, plus she has the magic of life and death, plus magic of time walker, plus her magic is unbound. Thus she is on her way to become powerful MOFO of a witch. And she truly blossoms into one in season 3.

I like the firepower, teleportation and the witchwater bits. I don't get why people complained why she was so overpowered in season one when they actually have an explanation *WHY* her powers are manifesting and then they leave room to explore it!

These are all just teaser, small samples of her abilities. Season two...WOW! I don't want to ruin it for anyone that hasn't seen or read the book series. She will/does become the most powerful Witch to ever live. You haven't seen anything yet.

I remember watching this a long time ago but then i forget the name of the show….at some moment in time, i try so hard to find what this show is/what is it call. Cuz at that time i was looking for fantasy movies/series to watch and i find..NONE…so i give up. But then today i search for witches videos and this pops up!!!! Im so happy! And at the same time kinda feel nostalgic.

Netflix kills off series after 3 or 4 seasons and moves on to producing new ones to attract new fanbases, that is their business model. They just did that with Sabrina, they have done it with Sense8, Strange things, etc. The list goes on and on and on. They better keep their claws off of this show if we want it to last longer than 4 seasons. I am looking forward to a 4th and a 5th ones at the very least and the Sky network seems to be just fine.

@@LilMissStarlightxxx it's a book that it's actually a trilogy. And they did a fourth one which it's a kinda independent. They should do new scripts to continue this story and i really doubt it. I don't mean that Netflix will have the production but to buy it from sky tv and makes it more popular.

Eh she can’t control her powers at all most of the time, it’s barely enough to get her out of dangerous situation. I think she gets truly op in season 2

There is one witch posing a threat and in s1 she has no control. In s2 she acuires it but there is only one battle against 2 vamps which she almost burned alive

She became for life the Goddess's tool of justice in this reality, replacing Philipe. This is not clearly explained in the TV show. You have to read the books to get the full canvas. Don't get me wrong, the series is very good, but to get the full experience, one needs the books.
