She is not just a great soprano (my favorite, btw). She is also a magnificent actress! The emotion of her voice comes through her expression and body language, too! Best Queen of the Night ever!

J’écoute cette belle voix en pensant à notre pauvre France empêchée de vivre et asphyxiée par un magma de dirigeants sans scrupules et mensongers ...que la France vive !!! Nous risquons de perdre ces belles voix ...ce n’est pas l’intelligence artificielle à la bill Gâtes qui remplacera les émotions et les talents humains !

She’s starting to slip either with the technique or the voice but it’s not as controlled as just a few years ago.

I agree.. I’ve heard her sing this flawlessly. I’ve been practicing this aria myself and listening to various sopranos. my favs are Renee Fleming and Montserrat caballe. I love damrau but i think her theatrics take over rather than just her beautiful voice
