All of you over the top Diana Ross fans I applaud you all. I like Diana Ross too. But if you all want to hear strong VOICES listen to Myrna Sumers, Whitney Houston, Sis. Albertina Walker and Gladys Knight. Far as a Soprano the voice quality tone, grant it, is thin such as: Diana Ross. I am speaking from experience my voice tone is Soprano. However, a strong soprano can use her voice on different ranges of the notes scale. Diana Ross evidently can't perform this task. STRONG soprano voices are: Patti LaBelle, Mariah Carey and of course Aretha Franklin, whom could just SING. I like Diana Ross but the TRUTH should be acknowledged. CORA HUDSON GUICE

Ms. Guice, when we want to hear any of the other voices you mentioned, we simply tune in to those singers. A bigger louder stronger voice isn't always a better voice. Nuance is a task many loud singers cannot perform. Diana Ross shines in doing so. As for your experience as a soprano, you should toss up a couple of videos of yourself here on KZfaq for us to critique.
