This song really should be re-released and done in memory of Michael Jackson, because the rythm and lyrics fit like hand-in-glove for MJ. Would be awesome to see a tribute video made for him. I hope Diana considers this.

had she did show up and sang this song..i would have surely passed out crying from grief..i can only say that no one knows how much pain diana is going through..after all she knew him MORE than any of us. i also can add i never in all 52yrs of my life attend a funeral until my moms passed in Oct 08. it was my first and last. i will NEVER attend another..it damn near Killed me. so i have no comment as to why diana did not want to attend. thats a personal choice. no one questions US.

Saw the divine Ms Ross at Newcastle Arena in 1997 not long after I had lost my beloved Dad. This song had me in tears.

it IS a personal choice, NO ONE saying it is NOT, we all handle grief differently... and sorry about your mother, sadly, I know how that feels, lost my dad when I was 15, and my mother in 1996, I miss them BOTH horribly to this day... I guess I just thought that the following would be at MJs memorial: Diana, Quincy, Liz Taylor, Debbie Rowe, and Lisa Marie Presley, dear Lord... probably better "some" were not though... ):

I love Diana's music, her voice, but must say I was SO disappointed, STILL AM, that not only was she NOT in attendance for Michael Jackson's memorial, but I have heard nothing in re of ANY KIND of "response" or "regrets" from her for Michael's passing... and I "THOUGHT" they were VERY CLOSE for years! ): What gives? She SHOULD dedicate a concert, show, SOMETHING to Michael... Where has she been in all this? DAMN SHAME about Michael, huge longtime fan of his... U R Missed Michael, RIP...

that could be true as well... I actually thought the memorial they had was somewhat "humane" and NOT "over the top" so much as we ALL thought it would be... I was, however, disappointed that Micheal's OWN family (wth the exception of Jermaine and the one sister, his poor little girl at the close of it), did NOT have much to say... I did like how all the brothers got up to thank each and every one of the celebrities that did speak... and Michael's father on a few. Could have been worse...

Wgat are you talking about get your facts right Diana did say something wheh he passes. It was all on t.v and Diana and Quincy and Elizebeth didnt go to the memorial becuase it was too hard. Diana said all she does is cry she couldnt handle seeing all that thats why she didnt go.

i agree, i dont really like the stage in the round. because i feel that your back is to someone at all times........prince did that in 2003 and i hated it, plus the sound was horrible (not really his fault) it was the venues but still i hate "theater in the round" but diana has done this many times.....
