I love and collect English and American ironstone but I really love Shenango and Jackson restaurant ware which I have been collecting since the 1980s. I have some really old Jackson pieces when they were marked Jaxon. Thanks for this video!

I enjoyed learning a little bit of history on Ironstone. I’ve been collecting it for quite a few years. Mostly I have pitchers n a couple of chamber pots ( which I love). I also have a lot of restaurant (or diners they called them back then) dishes. Such as plates, bowls n on the bottom says SYSCOWARE has number n China. They are very heavy n I’m sure not Ironstone but I love em n use them daily. They are all white. ♥️😊👍

Definitely sounds like restaurantware Shelly--sometimes I find these pieces more beautiful than English ironstone!
