This video is a sequel to my original video on diatonic exercises on the piano. Diatonic basically means "of the scale" and they inspire a litany of exercises that WILL grow your skills on the piano.
This video takes the concept a little further, moving into 9th chord extensions, more complex arpeggios, and taking simple melodies and bringing them to a different key signature to see how we can handle a non-natural note in our playing.
I also cover more advanced techniques, like bass lines in the left hand and contrary motion. These are all techniques that EXPAND your abilities. So feel free to save this video, and take each example at your own pace!
