I feel like alot of you people who are saying you think Masvidal won dont really understand boxing. Ring control is a huge thing, Masivdal was on his back foot most of the fight. He threw less punches and the hard power shots he did land never dropped nate or showed much significance in being able to end the fight. You have to take into account none of them resulted in a 8 count. Perception is huge for the judges score card. Pushing the pace and looking like the more fresh and well rounded boxer goes a long way. Now if Masvidal would have dropped nate we probably would have a different result. This is a unbiased view point of the fight. I like both fighters and couldnt choose who I wanted to win because ive always liked both guys. Analyze the fight for what it is and stop inputing ur emotions on which fighter you wanted to win. Take it for what it is and understand that if you let it go to the scorecard the results might not tilt in your fighters favor. When you re-watch the fight and look at the adversity on Masvidals face like he was fighting to stay alive from exhaustion it just goes back to perception. Boxing can be about more than just power and hard hits volume and control are also what are being analyzed. If ur power shots didnt end the fight then control and volume will usually sway to the opposing boxer. Thats why someone who is bias can never judge a fight cause they are never looking from the outside in.

They made comments and the judges judged, everybody did their jobs. It looked to me like Jorge couldn't handle Nate's constant pressure.
