This video shows how I was struggling with motorized brush of Dibea D18 and how I managed to fix it. I hope it will be useful.

Really helpful video as the brush on my Dibea stopped rotating and the lights kept going off. I fixed it after watching your video. Many thanks.

I really hope you can reply me as currently my Dibea is giving me issue somewhat similar like yours. After I switch on the vacuum for 3-5 seconds, then the battery light starts blinking, the motorized brush lights go off, and the brush is not rotating too. Please let me know if your situation is similar like mine and does the tutorial in the video help to solve your problem? I am worried as this problem happens when my Dibea is only less than 3 months old. Awaiting your reply.

Thanks! Mine was the second problem. We have long hair and it was wrapped around so much it couldn't spin. I thought it was electrical because it would spin a little then stop. So glad to have it working again.

To remove the cover you have to pull out the 2 little rolling wheels and unscrew the screws underneath. Remove the belt and unscrew the electric engine. Pull out the top of the rolling mechanism and clean hair and dust. Finally oil and reassemble.

This brush head is also used on an onson brand d18e (part fs001). Thanks, I imagine one day I will have to do this fix.. my motor squeels like crazy.

If this solution does not work for you, unscrew the bottom cover of the vacuum head and pry it open. There is a belt not far from the motor that may be loose. I couldn't find a way to fully take off the cover and ended up bending it in the process but after adjusting the belt with a pencil and screwing it shut it is good as new, besides for some cosmetic wear as a result of the bending. I also left cardboard on the side of the belt so that it does not fly off again.

This was a very helpful tip - thank you. The belt had simply come off it's rung and with a pair of tweezers, easily sorted. Many thanks

very helpful.. tried cleaning the brush head and it all went back to normal. my brush and lights turns off exactly 7 seconds after turning it on. im guessing its a self protection circuit to prevent strain on the rollers.
