I know Jinki doesn’t really understand why anyone wants to see this lol. Like I get it, he’s a perfectionist and why would you want to hear/see the rough bits and working through the same things over and over, but as someone in a creative field (that isn’t music) I always love seeing peoples process! I think Onew really achieved the vision he had for Dice’s sound, the final version is absolutely beautiful and it somehow gets better too whenever he performs it live. The amount of work everyone put into the song is so amazing to see, definitely big congratulations to everyone involved!!! Dice is such a masterpiece!!!

We all love his voice, but in this video I could also see how much of an artist he is, not just a good singer. I love videos like this, because you can see the effort that goes into the pronunciation, singing technique and feeling. Onew is not just a beautiful singer, but he is an artist, showcased by this and his many years in the industry. He is even more attractive to me now, and I didn’t think that was possible 😍

SHINee members really are such pros! It shows how serious and hands on Jinki is on his craft. He knows what he’s doing. He knows what he want as outcome, he’s got his own standards for the result and he knows how to get that. ONEW EVERYONE!

Onew asked why we like to see behind the scene videos. Because I like to see the process, not just the end product. It's precious time and effort put into creating something. And isn't it interesting to see how it all works, and how different the ending can be from the beginning? While the end product is about creating something perfect, behind the scenes are all about the imperfections. I loved seeing this! I love seeing how a singer thinks of the sound he makes and how many times he has to record just to get the right sound. Just hearing the official Dice song, it's obvious he'd done a lot of work to make it sound so good in a way it complements with the theme and is experimenting, but my glob, this behind the scenes is evidence that he analyzes single lines to fit not only the concept but also the choreo- he's not going for the wholly safe route as he used to long before.
