the struggle with friends is knowing what they're willing to do vs what they're capable of doing. i don't do anything for anybody beyond what doesn't take me away from my activities. if i'm meeting a friend and that friend doesn't have money but would like a drink or some basic shopping, i'm fine with that. if a friend asks me to do technology stuff i'll do it but in my own time, not theirs. never expect anything from anybody. you are alone and you will die alone. your life is the only kind in existence. you exist exactly once. we have two choices to pick from. pretend everything is great/terrible and be overly optimistic/pessimistic, or, we can accept life as it is, knowing bad things and good things happen with no ultimate reward / punishment. you can ask people for things, but you can't expect YOUR IDEAL RESPONSE. why? because they are alive too. thier lives are just as unique as yours and as such are no more or less important to them (generally). a standard off the shelf friend will say crappy words of comfort. a true friend will exacerbate options to provide it. i've experienced the latter, however, it came with the caveat that i MUST repay it like a debt, which in turn is nullifying the original gesture of goodwill. nobody owes me for what i do, to think so is a monumental exaggeration of the worth of any action. the most you will get from me is "thanks" and "i'll try to do the same one day!" but never "how can i repay you oh great and merciful friend?"

I just viewed this clip but It speaks volumes about Joe Diaz that he would call Dice just two days ago and 🎲 is already there on the podcast that speaks volumes it really does because people that are full of s*** you know tend to make you wait for no reason whatsoever but just to bust your balls and Dice definitely has a life he still funny as f*** and I certainly appreciate him being on the podcast I grew up going to school say the Georgie Porgie poem in school so that was amazing so thanks to Dice and JD for inviting him.
