What I loved about Mr. Russell is that his jokes had a punch to them but you had to be quick witted to get them because by the time you got it you was punched 4 or 5 more times by the next joke! LOL! What a great Man! We miss you my friend. Rest In Peace.

Strangely, I had never even heard of rapper Nipsey Hussle until after he died, but I was reminded of the REAL legend Nipsey Russell, which is what brought me here

I too was drawn to Nipsey Russell's post because of my current curiosity of the rapper Nipsey Hussle who was tragically murdered in front of his businesses ! I'm just trying like everyone else to make so kind of sense out of the senseless murders that happen to our people especially the ones trying to hold pull people up and inspire them to be the best they can be and more ! Instead of pulling people down further into a world of indifference intolerance and dark unfortunately unforgiving dark sinkhole we call home within our often abandoned blighted inner city neighborhoods in America ! God bless Nipsey Hussle and Mr Russell's warmth kindness and generosity and thank you both for sharing your talent and laughter with us ❤️ 🙏

I came here because while watching Sanford and Son here on youtube, Grady Wilson mentioned he went to Vegas to see shows of Nipsey Russel's and Harry Belafonte. I also thought the name sounded like Nipsy Hustle, and I googled him.

So... I'd never seen Nipsey do his thing. I only knew him through The Match Game, which I've been watching extensively lately on KZfaq (WHAT FUN!). But after seeing him on an episode, I read his Wikipedia article, and looked up his stand-up stuff. That how I ended up here. Let me tell you, this is one smart comedian. I love his whole presentation. Last night I saw Brian Regan in Madison, Wisconsin. I love good comedy. Nipsey is awesome.
