Thanks for giving his name ! I was wondering.. yes great solo, although I don't find this scratched metal sound really suits the song.. but well, some new tries are always good to take..

You welcome They used to be two: Al Anderson and Junior Marvin here in the back and left side of Bob Marley (right side of the screen) Two great guitar players ❤

@@tinepapa7821 Thanks. Sure great ! But do you know.who played the original solo.on.the album? Al, Junior or Peter??

The original was played by the Wailers with Bob, Peter and Bunny . Peter played solo in this song I think

@@tinepapa7821 That s what I've always thought too, since he's the only guitar credited (on the original vinyl album sleeve I have).. we can only guess since (unfortunately) we didn't witness this AWSOME creation..😁☹ Thanks anyway and the best to you..

In September 1973; when visiting Jamaica from England I had the pleasure of being invited by my friend Vincent White (Bassie); who is a personal friend of Bob and the members of the Wailers; to see Bob & the group practicing songs for the Natty Dread Album. It was an afternoon that I still remember and treasure. There really is no group to compare to them. Even now their music still sounds so refreshing. Of all their great songs Concrete Jungle & War are my favourites.

Yes , I agreed! Bob Marley may not have gotten a number one song on the billboard magazine list but nevertheless , if you look at all this man's videos on utube , they're in the millions. Even some of his songs that most people never heard of are being seen by millions on utube. I always believed that the billboard magazine management haven't given black people music the platform that is so fully deserved. I remembered way back , when the Mighty Jackson Five had a sure number one song : "Dancing Machine" and that song stayed at number two for the longest time without getting to number one. Only on the black chart that song was number one. I hated that!!! Seems we are second best in just about every aspect of the world. Billboard now saying that rock and role is not black people music , so they could not find no blacks to fit the role. That's one of the most racist remarks I ever heard. This reminded me of MTV back in the day. In modern times , MTV wouldn't even play the most popular black people music. They came up with some crap why they couldn't allowed it. Just like when white cops kicked around black people on the street and then covered it up with their partners. And then nothing became of those incidents. What a shame .!!!🫠 😔 😕 😞 😪 😢

Man, listen! This song is SO soulful and is always a spiritual experience for me. Don't ask me why, because I can't explain it, but it just is. The music that this band produced has been so underrated over the years. This is one of the greatest bands of all time. Carlton Barrett was SUCH a pocket drummer. Never a man to overplay his drums. He was very good at playing some of the most intricate beats but in such a subtle way. My favorite version of this song is the one played on the album "Babylon By Bus" but this version is so sweet., Listening to Carlton Barrett open and close those hi-hats at the most perfect times of the sone is pure musical genius and pure aural heaven.

Gracias Bob.
