Game being a part of G-Unit was a whole idea from Jimmy Iovine to capitalize on the hype and brand that Em, Dre, and 50 blew up to make it a West Coast thing as 50 and co. were New Yorkers. That's how and why 50 was brought in to write hooks and hits for Game's album as Game was going nowhere than the pasture where plenty of Aftermath signees often ended up as his album stalled like many before him. Game's album hit, it's a fun classic, but we know the story of Game falling out with 50 due to ego bullshit, and he still won't admit that 50 built his career on hits that he wrote to finish that record. I'm a Game fan, he's a real deal rapper, but it's absurd to deny reality too.
