Did being top 10 in an aimtrainer help me in FPS games?

If you've been in aimtraining communities for a while, I'm sure you've heard something about there being a limit to its effectiveness. That at a high enough level, your improvement in scores in aimtrainers won't be reflected in game. This is something I used to believe myself, but I wanted to truly put the idea to the test, if I got into the top 10 worldwide in an aimtrainer, would I get better in fps games?
This is by far the most amount of time and effort I've ever put into a single video, even disregarding how long it took to actually get the scores this took ages to edit and script, I hope you all enjoy ❤️
The gameshow style fps I was playing at a few points throughout this vid is called the finals, its free on steam and the most fun I've had in an FPS in years, I highly recommend it ^^
The benchmarks I use are the season 3 voltaic kovaaks benchmarks, I chose them since I think they translate better to in game performance than the newer season 4 benchmarks or the aimlab benchmarks. If you'd like them yourself, go into the link below, click on file, make a copy and add your scores!

I found that my aim improved the best when I started incorporating the other aim categories, instead of only focusing on what "made sense for the game I played". Here's an Iroh quote for absolutely no reason: "It is important to draw wisdom from many different places. If we take it from only one place, it becomes rigid and stale" - General Iroh.

Been waiting after seeing updates on twitter and it was well worth the wait ❤ I'm almost Gold Complete in S4 Voltaic and I have around 220 hours in Kovaaks and the consistency in game is what I have come to understand will improve when Aim training. It gives you the tools needed to maintain your aim , improve it and keep it consistent from match to match in game.

This really opened my eyes about improving in fpses from aim training. I too felt like my aim had reached a point where it was good enough for all scenarios in fpses, but perhaps that's because I didn't focus on skillsets I'm weak at and my fundamentals not being perfect. This video regained some of my motivation and desire to improve my aim *for* fpses as well, there perhaps is no ceiling for this skill. Wonderfully crafted video!

GOATcose dropping another banger on our foreheads. That section around 6-8 minutes where you're letting your skill speak for itself *chefs kiss*. Sports are a great comparison here because elite talents like Messi, Curry, Djokovic, and Serena aren't elite because they played more. Thank you for taking the time to do this because it shows how people can utilize aimtrainers to skyrocket their level.

Great video! From my experience I FFA deathmatch to warm up for CS2 but my headshot percentage and overall stats are worse when I hop into ranked bomb defusal. It's because there's no pressure or stakes when it comes to FFA DM so I am very calm and can focus on shooting. In-game there are so many factors like timers, screaming teammates, etc. I don't use aim-trainers but it's for certain when you use those the targets often don't shoot back haha.

I have recently started getting back into the aim training scene again after taking a break to focus on the games themselves, being apex and overwatch, and i have had a massive increase in scores going from diamond/plat overall to masters/GM. I had a bit of a stagnant period during my diamond scores and i still have a hard cap on my static clicking still being diamond BUT i have started playing valorant so now i have a “clicking” game to play. I cant wait to go for higher scores overtime and to improve even more on Aiming in general

For Apex, just make your own reactive routine tbf. I hyperfocused on smooth and reactive tracking when i switched from Aim Trash to Aimbeast and despite taking a month long break from Apex, my aim felt great. Then i decided to hyperfocus on Static for a month because lacking as it is with everyone else and yeah...now i can snipe in Apex but im rusty with anything automatic. But hey, at least tapping/burst in Tac FPS feels good. I am Masters complete too.

@@Divinity_vA exactly what i did and i kinda hyper focused on reactive tracking for a bit so im still lacking in smoothness a little, same issue ive had for a very long time cause i originally got very good at target switching and ONLY target switching so now the rest of my "aim" is catching up to my target switching and even then thats now starting to lack considering i havnt done it in a while

@@imcatderp Lowkey, i never focused on TS as i don't necessarily find it useful personally and with static/dynamic/reactive and smooth, my TS is staying up to par with my other scores so i'll probably never give it any special attention. Great video, honestly made me realize that if I want to switch to mnk I do have to commit much more to it than me getting carried by AA 😂. I am curious how it affected your ranked experience, as I had a friend who had insane aim, but poor game sense and it really showed, and would like to see just how far raw aim can push those boundaries.
