mobile game made $130 billion dollars last year. Japanese, china, and Korea mobile game markets are bigger than console markets in their respective countries, Mobile dominates half the industry in revenue beating out consoles and pc. The most popular game in the world right now, fortnite, most likely owes much of that to mobile and more importantly. There is a whole generation of kids growing up playing mobile games with absolutely no issues for the platform. The real truth is that mobile is a lot bigger and important then people like to act like and the reason most people hate on it is cause their stuck in a box and their perspective is outdated. I mean a majority of them still think flappy bird and angry birds is a thing and believe that somehow most games are unplayable despite fortnite, a third person shooter racking a 1.4 million dollars DAILY from the platform.

Bethesda E3 without TES6 or even Starfield isn't worth watching

I only watch these other conferences for potential switch news. They have generally sucked these past few years in my opinion. Nintendo’s E3 are always really hype though, even if they usually only revolve around one game. I’d rather have a ton of gameplay from a high quality game than a bunch of cinematic trailers for games that all look the same.

@@peachyjam9440 Personally, I stopped caring about Bethesda more than a decade ago, so I don't really care. But I think people people would like some candour from them. Be frank about where things wen't wrong and how they will attempt to fix it. They lost a lot of goodwill. You don't get that back by introducing NPCs through DLC and expecting people to lose their minds over this revolutionary feature. Bethesda wants to you to give them standing ovations for being a year too late in fixing problems in their game. It simply doesn't work that way. Like I said, I don't care about anything any Bethesda spokesperson ever says because they're way past redemption, and to me this conference of theirs just confirms everything I hate about BGS. They're a pretty great publisher though.

Anyway, I never mentioned what Todd is allowed to say or not (apparently he IS "allowed" to say that they knew the game wasnt going to do well critically?), all I said that they didn't address anything, and I'm standing by that. Saying "we're listening to your feedback" is so cynical it makes my head spin. And no, most of the bugs are not gone. And of course he's not responsible for the merch, but he did promote the special edition didn't he? When you decide to become the face of a company or brand, then then the burden of responding to issues also falls to you. And that's not even mentioning the fact that they announced a Battle Royale mode, which is so cynical I don't even know where to begin. Either way, we clearly disagree and that's ok, but I personally do not think they did not address it all and I think some of comments by Hines and Howard are not helping with the fans. But like I said several times before, I haven't really liked a Bethesda game since Morrowind so I'm long past caring. The only reason I "watch" (read: skip through) a conference like this is so I can fast forward to the games by Id, MachineGames and Arkane and hopefully avoid most of the cringey stuff.

Kenneth Flaming Bethesda does have good games I mean let’s not forget how successful Skyrim was. I love the Elder Scroll series and have played them since Morrowind. Is Bethesda perfect no, have they made so many mistake yup,(horse armor DLC). However you can’t deny that despite their failures they also have made some incredible games they aren’t all bad and some great DLC’s (Shivering Isles). Fall Out 4 is another game that wasn’t a bad game. So that’s why I am fan, despite seeing them mess up so much, because they still make good games, and I’m really looking forward to Elder Scrolls 6.

Kenneth Flaming How is Skyrim average? Have they released Skyrim an insane amount of times of course they have. However you have to consider when it came out the first time it was one of the games of the year. Even Wood likes Skyrim. I’m not saying Bethesda is the greatest company on earth, however you seem to be saying they’ve never done anything good, which is incredibly biased.

I was a fan of Bethesda and really looked forward to their next move.... Keyword "was".... They slowly lost respect from me by releasing Skyrim more and more on different platforms, and then remastering it and releasing it again and again... Then they did good with Fallout 4, good game but still downgrade from previous installments... But then the all the bullshit with F76, now moving into mobile games (particularlly the way they are doing it), and in general the sheer laziness and greed they are expressing has completely turned me off from them. Yeah, I hope they do good, I do not hope for them to fail, and I really want to see what Starfield and ES6 become.... Im not anywhere near as hyped for them as I used to be, mostly because I dont want to be let down..... But I do look forward to them....

Minus the microtransactions (though you can still acquire the premium currency just fine by playing normally), Blades is free. Also Skyrim's been around for a while so people who have played the game before multiple times might pick up Blades to get something new while they wait for Elder Scrolls 6 (some people don't like MMOs (Elder Scrolls Online) or card games (Elder Scrolls Legends) and would rather play something closer to the main series like Blades). Also Blades isn't supported on a lot of mobile devices so some people might pick it up on console / PC instead simply because they can't play it on their phone. Edit: Not that I'm defending Bethesda's actions, as I had to stay up until 3 in the morning to watch that crap conference.
