Did Birth Order Shape Our Personalities?? FIRST BORN VS MIDDLE CHILDREN ft The Golden Tulip

We're sure you have come across at least one last-born meme that made you laugh.
But we discovered that there's a theory that claims that the order in which a child is born shapes their development and personality.
Do you agree?
Apparently, firstborns tend to be more conscientious, extraverted and willing to lead. They are also more tolerant and emotionally stable than adolescents with older siblings.
We test this theory on the show today...get ready to dig in!
And let us know how true this theory is for you growing up and how that compares in your children today.
Come through to Golden Tulip today and discover their selection of gratifying BBQ every Friday from 6 pm to 10 pm with their fabulous Inhouse Band.

Some of us grew up in a polygamous household, Now, that has another version to it. How nice it would be of you inviting someone who was raised in a polygamous family so others can relate . There’s a lot I’ve loved listening to this conversation but man, it takes other dynamics being raised in a polygamous home. Thanks for the show. Knowing that maama Blake was raised by a single parent , the single parents can relate to the parenting style.

Growing up , I have always felt the less loved ... And growing up as an illegitimate child and first , it became worse . One moment I will never forget is when ... I had my phone while I had his charger as he was at school ...so he goes to village and leaves his charger with Me in Kampala ....so thieves broke into my house and robbed me including my brothers charger ofcourse...fast forward , I call my mum early morning to lament how I was robbed ( using a neighbor's phone apparently) , after listening to the story of how I was robbed...she ddnt even say sorry or anything ...she asks me " has your brothers charger been stolen too?" Guys like for crying out loud..not even feeling sorry about my life , my lost property ...a charger 😆 I have never healed 🤣🤣🤣 But regardless we move . Otherwise thanks for the show ladies and thanks for looking mwaaaaaaa💯💕...all of you look fabulous

put it like this; your mommy and daddy shaped your characters greatly by picking favourites. the least favourite gets all the negative words and actions while the favourite one gets the best. a pastor said hao hampedi ndio wa mungu no wonder they succeed. bu you have to shake off that negativity or it will hamper your confidence in life.

I am an only child brought up by a single mom because my dad passed away when I was a baby. My mom was very conscious that I have no siblings so she brought me up to be very independent and responsible. Pumlaz submission btn minute 53 and 56 is 100% true and brilliant analysis...I have 3 sons and I can relate to what she has said 100%. I seem to be showing more love now to my first born much as I would not publicly admit coz I had him while young and the circumstances then were limiting factors. Love u bump love

Middle children are always remembered at last

I am a middle child. I never got anything new. Things were always passed down to me when old or broken. 😂. So I learnt how to fix things. At my home I am a plumber, mechanic, electrician you name it, I can fix it. When I was 8 months pregnant I climbed on a chair to fix a bulb and my DH wasn’t amused. He said I make him feel inadequate sometimes when I fix things. Unfortunately it’s just my nature to do such things.

All the ladies look exquisite! Angie, that emerald green is ya color #gorgeous. "No 2 children are raised by the same parent",Pumla thank u for eloquently articulating that point. There's some sort of magical authenticity that elevates this show when the ladies get to know personal tidbits abt each other whilst doing the show. Bump ❤️...the show I didn't know I needed. Great job ladies!

Me as a firstborn in my mother's wonb i feel responsibilities are still following since childhood. I was always blamed for my siblings mistakes infact i would get serious canes. I used to be served last because am old i can wait. Even buying clothes would be not easy because they have to cover the young ones first. I was a person who couldn't left home because am old. I would pay for my mistakes and my four siblings. 😢 But right now my parents shows that they love me so much but it's hard for me to believe. I remember 2019 i was in senior three and my young sister was in s1 but she became my spy at school. She could borrow teacher's phones and calls mum lie and tell her what goes through my life by the time i call for pocket money or school fees i find when she is already annoyed of me😢😢😢. I would even end the term without completing school fees due to my sister that never loved me for the reasons that i don't know. I remember one time she mis placed her plate she cried for hours and the H M decided to call mum when she reached explained what happened and teachers did the same but MY OWN MOTHER BEAT ME FOR A FULL HOUR. everyone around tried to explain and defend me but she didn't listen😏😏😏. The woman gave me 😢😢😢😢😢. Latet asked her if she was my mother 😅 and she got more angry with me that was another hour on me. Remember she doesn't give me any coin When she left i ran from school i went to the main road such that cars should knock me and i die but it didn't happen. It's where i meant a guy who looked to caring and he became a friend to me ended up dating at the end of the day i got pregnant because i knew nothingabout sex. He broke my virginity and got me pregnant on the same day. He planned with his friends and helped me to abort 😢 i was in senior two. He kept providing me with everything like school materials andup keep until they changed me school. And there it was senior four. Thet didn't give registration fee and school fees for the whole year . Until it was August and i was sent home for School fees of two terms and my parents couldn't give me i meant another guy who promised me a job and i decided to go without telling anyone . But getting me a job again i had to his girlfriend and we slept together and i got pregnant again but i never knew so i started working after a month i got my 400k i went back to mbarara coz i was working in Kampala. I bought one bread and 1kg of sugar i went home abd they welcomed me well later i went for s4 third term but i was pregnant. I managed to study but unfortunately we didn't do exams because the director ate the money and promised us to study again for free same class Next year 2020😢. But i was still demanded school fees for last year. So i reportex back to school but i felt different because of the pregnant 😢. I ran from school and called the responsible person he welcomed me in Busia it's where i gave birth to my boy In 2021 i got a chance and came to Saudi Arabia and started working. But in that period i never communicated to any one home. After a few monthd i called them we talked . Up to now. BUT UP TO NOW I HAVE NEVER TOLD THEM ABOUT MY BABY HE IS MAKING 3YEARS IN APRIL 😂😂. I feel like i should never tell anyone including my mother 😅😅 . Up to now i feel am not loved as other siblings 😢😢 that why i prefer strangers than my family. They talked to me with a reason . My dad wants me to give him everytime he can't appreciate 😢😢😢 . I regret being a first born in that family😮😢😢

Oh Shallot love. What a story! So much happened but - You are loved. Believe it. The fact that you are here to pen down your situation so others might relate with it says that you were meant to be here to speak up. Lots of hugs honey. P

Oooh Shallot, I send you cyber hugs, as a first born I have been where you are, parent toxicity is real I wish @Bumblove speaks about it. But I chose my self, selflove and selfawarness the trauma from parentification is real and it takes long to heal because the perpetrators don't accept and the victims can't believe they faced it all from the people who are supposed to protect them. As a mother now I am very conscious about my action and how I treat both my children. Through them and doing better as a mother, I am healing. Shallot you still have the trauma, you need to heal and have peace. Lots of love J
