I didn't get that impression from listening to that podcast. I think he failed at the whole "we/I need to be open" about everybody argument. With their history, I doubt he supports Trump.

@@Dee-jp6no Yeah I highly doubt he’d actually vote for Trump, but he did said he’s “always open”. Then he went even further to prove his openness by saying he’s voted republican before. He’s now saying he wasn’t specifically talking about Trump, so it looks like he’s backtracking. Regardless, I think he should be able to support whoever.

I watched the podcast. I agree with what Chris is selling on being open and understanding different viewpoints and how it's not the end of the world if either Biden or Trump wins, but his delivery was lacking. He walked into the criticism on his own. I do think just based on following him throughout the years since his Fox days that he does lean moderate-conservative.

Whomever Cuomo hired as a public relations manager to repair his image should get a nice fat holiday bonus. Chris also deserves some credit as it's hard to say and do things you normally wouldn't enjoy doing. I don't know him personally, so this is just my observation based on how the media & fans have treated him while at CNN to leaving CNN and then while joining NewsNation up until this point.

I wish cuomo would have not folded so easily, hes clearly not voting for Trump but he definitely meant he was open to it, and he had it right at first when he said everyone should he open to everything. Had Cuomo just stood strong when pressed and said "I'm not voting for Trump, but yes, I am always open to anything, including voting for him. What's wrong with that? Are you implying I, or anyone should be resistant to changing their mind as things change and situations evolve, and I learn more and potentially change my mind?" Had he said that he would have made Abrams look ridiculous, because it is ridiculous to criticize someone for being open to changing their mind on who they will vote for. The fact that Dan's media outlet thought that was a story worthy of reporting on shows they are just another outlet engaging in this identity politics crap. Shaming someone for even being open to changing their mind on who they will vote for is ridiculous and something I'd only expect from MSNBC, so the fact that Dan created yet another media outlet engaging in the same old BS we have been getting from the mainstream outlets that people are sick of says a lot about Dan as a "journalist," specifically that he is not one.
