In the future, anytime you get something with the silica gel packets, save them. I have done this many times and it works. Put the item in a ziploc bag with the packets and it will dry out the moisture. Worth a try.

Slow cooler helps out a lot when u are busy, put meat on in the morning, u can add potatoes, carrots and what ever with it, put it on low , by evening it will be ready.

I believe I would have simply opened the camera up to let it dry out vs trying rice.

JASON, disassemble all sections possible on that cam and put in the rice for at least a week. Also, be sure to get as much air of of the bag before you zip seal it up. Do not open the bag in the interim. Though the rice method doesn't usually work, it's worth a shot, right?

Howdy guys🙋, I hate to tell you this but you took it out of the rice too soon you supposed to leave it in there 2 or 3 days. An instant rice is more absorbent than regular rice. Plus did you disassemble it as much as possible take the battery out and the back cover off. Then when you take it out take a vacuum and vacuum as much of that dustoff as possible... But oh well too late now... Ribs looked delicious.

They say to drop the phone in a bowl of rice to dry it out. I've never tried it, so don't know if it works, but I've seen that method recommended many times.

Never charge it when it’s wet. Keep in rice for a while. Be patient and pray it works. Something else that works great are those packets you get in various products for moisture purposes. I save them and when one of my AirPods accidentally dropped in the toilet lol I didn’t have rice so used them and it worked. 🤷‍♀️

Danielle you're an awesome person everybody makes mistakes it wasn't done on purpose everything falls out of my pouch when I wear it Jason you always cheer Daniel up when she told you what happened you did not yell you didn't get upset you said we'll fix it I like how you both compliment each other why don't you just put it by the fan a little bit more to make sure you didn't get any water inside the camera or phone

A few times rice didn't work when that happened to me but when I slipped my phone and it was my phone down into a pantyhose to keep the phone from getting cluttered up with the kitty litter lol. Yes kitty litter but it has to be silica only on the back as far as the ingredients. It's the stuff that drives the moisture out of the air keeps the kitty litter dehydrated but it's clean silica it's what they put in those little packs. Whenever you open a prescription bottle or an over-the-counter bottle and it has a little pack in it, it dehydrates the moisture. It works really really well. Let me know if you do that and if it works, I hope it can save you your $800...

Get a long Tupperware rectangular container and fill it with celery carrots and broccoli and cauliflower florets maybe a little cool water Excellent way of getting fresh vegetables in you rather than chips and candy. Also fresh fruit juice squeezed into your water better than the canned stuff. Now if I would only do as I say I would be so much healthier.😅

Hey kiddos sorry about the camera I had a smartphone that got wet & put it in a bag of rice but left it there for 48hrs & it worked afterwards I think y'all didn't leave it long enough in the rice.
