Thanks for the response. I didn't realize that if you won, it counts regardless of your ranking? That's kinda wild. I know people have been using alt alliances to get in all stars for forever, but it used to be at least a little harder to get the points (before last? qualifiers the building points were awful, alliance ranking was limited to top 300/400). It's definitely not as easy as most people think tho!

Yeah, I know, but it still doesn't make sense that essentially an alt alliance in my server would have their points counted for even a single round because they shouldn't have had enough points even if they won, but who knows

From my experience in C4 it doesnt seem like evony changed anything. Alliance need about 45k points to be top 500

No, but it's much harder for your alliance to rank if you don't as I believe you only get 2/3s of the alliance points (not including reining building points) if you win and 1/3 if you lose. So my alliance lost all 4 weeks, but since we had a ton of power, our points were still counted.

Definitely, C1 is the forgotten step child of the evony world. Curious what you disagree with though?

@@OptimizEvony We tried the MEGA alliance thing on our server, it worked beautifully, we were kicking ass and taking names.. Then robots and family members took over, now if you aren't massive you don't count how sad, players have become so selfish and we had it all.. bummer game took this turn. Team is just a dream..

Woah dude... I think there's a lot of misdirected anger in this post. Everyone can play the game however they prefer: small alliance, big alliance, pvp, pvm, etc. There are a lot of great players in smaller alliances. All stars is designed to be a battle of the best* (it will never actually be the actual best because of matchups/outside events) players in the continent. That doesn't mean biggest FYI, there are a lot of smaller players with really good buffs and ways to come out with positive points. What I don't agree with is people being able to hold buildings for 2 hours with very little pvp and getting to qualify. I have fought that alliance before on my alt alliances, that's the only reason I mentioned them is because I know their battles. It is pretty much all just holding buildings, which should not be enough to qualify for all stars. Alliance cooperation/skill is not easy and it's not just a better buffs/stronger power wins (though with all the big coiner updates, it's becoming a little more like that). Getting everyone in on time, rallying quickly, porting from rallies (while still attacking), etc are all skills that a good player/alliance should have. I am by no means a big spender, I have played this game for 6 years and have worked really hard on my account, so I'm not advocating for the pay 2 win strategies, I hate them. Everything should be grindable like it used to be. Civ gear/pay walls were the worst thing to get added to this game and it does make big coiners need less skill to succeed.

I am happy any time I see a player get any reward or opportunity that doesn't cost a hundred bucks. I'm stoked for alt qualifier guy. F*ck the whales. If building points don't count, don't have them generate scores. Like I said before, make changing alliance more restrictive in regard to battlefield eligibility and we wouldn't have that being abused so much.
