I am sensing a road trip in my future to Finders Keepers. One of my local stores is opening on Tuesday and taking appointments for shopping! I'm still anxious, but if I take all precautions, I will be as safe as can be. I have a feeling it will really lift my spirits. This was a fun video (again). You rock, Joce!

I have a method when I shop. I make a quick go round and get a broad overview of what is there first. I can grab things that might be gone if I had taken my time working through the store. Then, I do a slow round through the store and look more carefully. I do a third round if I have time and think there are things I might have missed.

What a nice little outing to Finders Keepers. Looks like you found a number of lovely things. Don't beat yourself up for the grubby bottomed piece. We that hunt have all been there, and it can be such a bummer. Personally tho, it may not be worth as much, but it still is a cooling looking piece. Nice to see Ned Bird looking fat and sassy. I am making steady progress and have my bed made up in my space, with some of my vintage quilt collection on it, so things are looking up. I can even see the floor in places too. : - ) All is not lost! : - ) Have a great day!

I wish we had a finders keepers were we live. Awsome store. The little bird has grown so much. But of course they do.lol. I recently bought a pallad blue Quaker and when I first saw her she had only fuzz. In just a few weeks she had all her feathers . She is so rotten. Stay safe and God Bless

Hi Jocelyn. Love the videos. I envy all the wonderful stuff you have access to! our thrift shops don't have as great things you do. The headaches you're having is from carbon monoxide. You're talking and breathing it in. My nurse friend has the same problem taking care of her patients. So lift your mask every now and then to breathe fresh air. Love ya!

Funny to see Ditmar Urbach (Czechoslovakian) pottery having interest in the American market. I have a small collection of their Alienware. When I purchased the pieces, hardy anyone knew what it was. I just liked the look of Egyptian revival I thought they conveyed.

As someone who works for one of the major Goodwill locations I will say this... You will be disappointed and we will not be opening anytime soon. Start looking for new places to shop.

Yep, I have to wear the mask for 9-12 hrs a day. Work in retail. I have headache and dizzy spells every day. I also trip a lot cause I can't see the dang floor. Get horribly over heated and my face is all broken out. I am not the only one. Don't think we are going to survive the summer with the masks. Face Shields are much better. You can see and breathe and protects you from coughs and sneezes. Wish they would let us wear those instead.

The mixed Nippon china is a steal. What a great variety! The elegant little Bohemia crystal caviar bowl would be worth the 25 bucks. I love it when you find such interesting pieces!

Joss, when you were looking at the toucan pitcher there were two lids on a plate in the front....I think the top lid might belong to the pitcher in the China cabinet .

I bet that darling miniature gold covered 3 piece is for caviar. Put ice in the bottom, caviar on the little plate and cover. Maybe individual portions like salt cellars.

Memory Lane is another neat place to stop in if you don't mind hearing people bowling while you shop sometime sounds like the bowling ball is going to come right through the wall lol! The store actually has a Goodwill feel to it in certain sections of the store.

I am confused I read the FK tag as set out on 5/18 for price of $14.95 until 6/9 or June 9th then it is available for $12.71. And that shelf was set 5/10 for $79.95 and not until 6/22 will it be available at $55.96. Have I been reading these tags wrong? Sorry if I am a pain but I have friends there and don't want to steer them wrong by them heading out there. Some things you show I adore as well. Not the heads tho, lol. Thanx. The bird vase is still a lovely piece....thanx for teaching us too.

I could tell the bird pitcher was a reproduction. The minute you picked it up i was screaming into the phone like an idiot lol i only could tell becuz of the size i inherited the real deal one 5 years ago and he sits on my kitchen shelf. I hope you find one too

Finders Keepers is a terrific store. If we had one in the area I'd have to budget my time and money carefully. Maybe only visit only twice a year with a limited amount of money would keep me out of bankruptcy. LOL
