That Jordan card is probably the most counterfeited card in the hobby. Would have been great had it been real but I bet you score a legit one soon!

Cards are so hard to authenticate without being a subject matter expert. I think it’s hard to buy cards that haven’t been authenticated. Glad you had a guy to help ID the fake.

The lesson on the Fleer MJ card was a good one, thanks for sharing.

I was the king of graded 1986 Fleer basketball in 1998. I sent over 700 1986 Fleer commons and minor stars to PSA on 2 grading specials. They charged me $2.50 per card and $4.00 per card on my 2 submissions. I had 103 different PSA 10 1986 Fleer Basketball cards at one point. I sold the first PSA 9 set with with Bill Mastro for about $5600. I had 17 Artis Gilmore PSA 10 cards from the set from those 2 submissions. I also paid $18,800 to David Kohler for a PSA 10 1986 Fleer Jordan rookie in his 1999 auction. The card was on the cover of Tuff Stuff.

When you saw $20 each on the 2nd set of dog cages, I knew before you did it that you'd offer $30 for both. The binge-watching is educational. Heavy as they are, you might could get your money back on those cages just selling them as scrap metal. I'm curious if the trailer needed tires too. And you're right- clean it, spray bomb it, get another $100 for it. Glad you get good laughs out of some of the comments, helps balance out the bad (like life!).

As a "card guy" I wouldn't touch most vintage unless it's graded or just a stupid cheap find and you can risk it coming back unauthentic. Too many fakes out there now. Great videos. Love the channel.
