As a seller that deal makes some sense. Nothing in it excited me but on your end you got a lot of $5-20 books and a few more than that. If it adds up correctly you should be fine however I am finding a lot of those books are going for cheaper than where you had them at. Worst case scenario you’ll make $300, best case $1000 of it. It depends. Personally I would have sold the other books if I had to rather than deal with the time and hassle of two long boxes but again I’m not in a position for that and you are. The key significance of Avengers 124 is that it was the first Marvel comic that my parents bought for me off the rack waaaaay back in 1974. :) That Alpha Flight 53 is Jim Lee's first published cover art at Marvel. Make sure to check the inside of that ASM 205. That issue is one that may have a Mark Jewelers insert.

I'd have to say, you got a good deal overall. You acquired some really nice books.

Just an FYI that amazing Spider-Man number one is not the first appearance of silk. It is, however, the first appearance of Cindy moon, who later becomes silk in amazing Spider-Man number four. Be careful how you list the book because you don’t want someone thinking they’re getting the first silk, but they only get the first Cindy moon.

Do you know if those silver surfer and dazzler can from Ohio at all? I knew a guy who had a couple dealer long boxes of just those and moon knight 1s. There were probably around 200-300 of each. They were sold off a few years ago.

My family spent an entire day walking through Gettysburg, taking pictures and listening to my father recite all his historic knowledge only to discover after returning to the hotel there was no film in the camera. We retraced our route the next day at double speed just to retake photos.

If those expensive keys you traded away had no significance to you then this was a good trade for both parties. If later on down the line you want any of those back you might regret cashing them out for inventory. It's a tricky thing having to worry about a bottom dollar when you're also involved with collecting the items you sell.

Not bad but I think you should have went with more value. Traded a few big keys for minor ones. You will make money off of it however the time you have to put in I don't know. I kind of think you should have gotten 1k more value. He could sell those keys if he chose a lot easier then selling all of those. Yes the smaller ones might move faster but that is a lot of work.
