Honestly it shouldnt seem odd 2 have 2 different natures, such as Jesus. Altho we dont have divine nature, we have a dual nature. I will try to explain what im meaning. When we are born, we have a sinful nature. Like we are naughty sometimes as children, we have all did things we should not have, but then theres that part of us that was made in the image of God. There are many out here who try to do right. To choose to not sin. Bc we again have freewill. Paul says it best in the Bible. He wants to do good, and tries to but sometimes he doesnt. I know im not using his exact wording. Idk maybe im just a deep thinker. God Bless everyone.

The show Lucifer is by no means biblically accurate, as its based off a superhero comic book, but it tackled some fun questions like "what does it look like when god sets aside his powers to live on earth?" etc. What I wonder is, when god emptied himself and became a human, did he still remain in heaven as god or was the universe on auto pilot for however long jesus was alive?

Its an interesting takr but just as water can undergo the hydrologic system and remain in multiple places as water yet still exists; to continue the cycle but, with different structures, so can God come into Earth with different structures yet operate in Heaven as well as on Earth as Jesus of Nazareth; as well as operate in the Holy Spirit to the believers today.

Did the Jews of Jesus' time believe that God would become a Man, based on the "Son of Man", from Daniel chapter 7? Or did they think it impossible for God to become a man? They tried to stone Jesus for being a man claiming to be God, and crucified Him for saying He was the Son of Man/God. So was a "God-Man" a foreign concept to them, or not? Or were they expecting to see more "God" than "man", from the Son of God/Man? And by that, I mean Divine signs and wonders, that only God can do. (Which Jesus actually did)

@@removingveils5824 - exactly!✅ Jesus was born of, through and into the Holy Spirit sinlessly conceived as fully human. He was tempted in ALL forms (Hebrews 4:15), but this is where the Hypostatic Union theory fails… God can NOT be tempted! Temptation comes from sin, but sin and God can NOT coexist! Theological logic. Sin is separation from God and anything that separates us from God. Thus the Great Fall. (The key 🔑 verse of the Bible is John 14:6 “I am the Way and the Truth and the Life. NO ONE comes to the Father but through me.” NASB77 Jesus showed us the Way to live by his example. He spoke the unadulterated Truth through grace in the Holy Spirit. He made for us the Life eternal by establishing a relationship with Him as our Lord and Savior when he who was without sin took on ALL sin and after preaching in hell, conquered death, rising from the grave on the third day by his OBEDIENT sinless, doubtless faith in his Father’a will! The exact SAME way he did all his earthly miracles through 100% pure unadulterated sinless, doubtless faith. (Matthew 17:20) Then, he affirmed his impending Divinity when he spoke these key words to Mary Magdalene to whom he first appeared in John 20:17 “Jesus said to her, “Stop clinging to Me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to My brethren, and say to them, ‘I ascend to My Father and your Father, and My God and your God.’ ” NASB77 Upon the day of his ascension into Heaven to become fully glorified, He gave the Great Commission. Matthew 28:15-20 “16But the eleven disciples proceeded to Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had designated. 17And when they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some were doubtful. 18And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” NASB77 Like Jesus, we are to be born (again) of, through and into the Holy Spirit and to establish a relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as reflections of Him by living our witness as reflections of Him and His unconditional loving grace. It’s all about GRACE.💓✌🏼

As in, what removing veils says. The Son of God existed in two natures, truly divine and truly human. As the scriptures clearly outline and the chalcedonian creed of the church clarifies. You reject this, then you jeopardise your salvation for we need the true Saviour. The true Christ

Where I trip up with this is: A human, to be human, is comprised of a human body and a human soul. If the soul is not human, then the being is not human. So, if Christ was human, he would’ve had to have had a human soul. Simply having a human body doesn’t make one human. But he couldn’t have had a human soul because his soul is God. I feel uncomfortable writing that as it feels blasphemous! However, I’m not trying to argue that Jesus isn’t God. I just don’t understand this “mechanism”, let’s say. It could come down to a misunderstanding of what a soul is, I don’t know. If anyone has any ideas they’re willing to share ( and can fit into a KZfaq comment! ) I’d love to hear them... or any recommendations for reading material or videos...?

Jesus Christ is not God. He has a God so he himself is not God. The teaching in this video is wrong. God cannot be tempted, God cannot die, God performed the act of salvation through his obedient son Yeshua. When Yeshua died It was God who raised him from the dead, God gave Yeshua authority over all creation and elevated him higher than the Angels. Yeshua’s deeds and words were not his own, God put his words in him, God instructed Yeshua what to say and do. Praise be to God for his salvation and Praise be to Yeshua for his obedience to His God and our God!!

@@rich_guitar thanks for your reply. I’ve wondered about whether Jesus was just a man and not God, but then here’s the question: if Jesus was just a man only, how would his death and resurrection serve as any kind of salvation? Maybe you and I see salvation as different things, I don’t know? I think the idea of Jesus being fully human AND fully divine - two natures, one being - sort of goes beyond pure logic. What you’ve said, though, is basically one side of what I’m trying to figure out so, thanks... I’m not alone! By the way, I checked your page and your martial arts video in a yard somewhere is really cool! 👍🏼

@@rich_guitar Hi Rich, The statement "Jesus Christ is not God" is completely incompatible with Christianity. The entire message of Bible hinges on whether or not Jesus is God, and Jesus makes it clear that he is God. John's Gospel is full of references to this: John 1:1-14, John 8:58, John 10:30-33, John 14:6 John 20:28 etc. Beyond that there is Matthew 1:23, Matthew 14:33, Colossians 1:15-16, 1 John 5:20 and Hebrews 1:3 to name a few. Some of what you say is accurate: "When Yeshua died It was God who raised him from the dead" is seen in Romans 10:9 (ESV) because, "if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Yes: "God gave Yeshua authority over all creation and elevated him higher than the Angels." but only after he was first lowered from that authority when he came down from Heaven: Hebrews 2:9 (ESV) "But we do see Jesus, who was made lower than the angels for a little while, now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone." However I do not agree that "Yeshua’s deeds and words were not his own, God put his words in him, God instructed Yeshua what to say and do." For to say that implies he was simply a puppet that God used to save us. And if so why couldn't he have just used anyone else? Luke 2:52 "And Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man." How could a puppet seek to grow in favor with its puppeteer for it is simply that; a puppet. The Bible simply leaves us no room to say that Jesus was just a good teacher used by God. I think C.S Lewis explains it far better than I ever could when he says: “I am trying here to prevent anyone saying the really foolish thing that people often say about Him: I’m ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I don’t accept his claim to be God. That is the one thing we must not say. A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic - on the level with the man who says he is a poached egg - or else he would be the Devil of Hell. You must make your choice. Either this man was, and is, the Son of God, or else a madman or something worse. You can shut him up for a fool, you can spit at him and kill him as a demon or you can fall at his feet and call him Lord and God, but let us not come with any patronizing nonsense about his being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us. He did not intend to.” God bless, Jack

The problem with Chalcedon it is makes it sound like Jesus did miracles by his own attributes of deity. But Scripture does not bear this out. The book of John illustrates that Jesus did miracles by the Father dwelling in him in the power of the Holy Spirit. This is why Jesus did no miracles in his childhood, or early adult life. It was after the Holy Spirit came upon him that the miracles started. The 2nd person of the Trinity, the Logos, kept his identity when he became a man, so he was divine. Hope that helps.

@@abrahamaguilar4960 Of course. The Logos (the Word) was with God and the Logos was God. Then the Logos was made flesh and walked among us. So Jesus had the spiritual identity of the Logos and so he is God. Plus, he had the DNA of is Father, God. Finally he was given the Holy Spirit without measure at his baptism. Jesus didn't know when he was to return because the Father didn't tell him. To split Jesus into two natures is Nestorian. The same being cannot be both all knowing and partial knowing. The Logos became a man, but kept his identity. He had divine identity and plus was given the Holy Spirit without measure. But as a man he did not know all things, but only what the Father told him. All of his miraculous works were from the Father.

One needs to understand the essence of Christ to be able to understand how the Son could say "no one knows..." And there isn't a scripture that even hints that Jesus was anything of man. It does say however, that He was the FULLNESS of DEITY in bodily form. One needs to understand that bodily form does not say human. Even the angels had bodily forms.

@@removingveils5824 Well it says very clearly that he was made a man (Phil. 2). In fact, he was a baby that grew up to become a man. So not sure what you are trying to say by that. Also, In him dwells the fulness of the God head bodily now, at the present time. But I'm not sure that was the case when he was a baby, before the Holy Spirit came upon him. And It would not make sense since he did not know the day or hour of his return when he was in the flesh.

@@Mike65809 Hi Mike, I was indoctrinated the same way as you for 24 years. That was 18 years ago. Read Phil 2 very carefully again: Vs 6 He existed in the form of God. i.e. in the omnipresent, omnipotent form of the Holy Spirit (as the bible says: God has no form but is universally present - there is no place where God is not). vs7 says that Jesus (as the Word of God - the very essence of God "took on the form of a man" i.e. the Spirit of God (synonymous with Holy Spirit, Spirit of God). However it did not say that He became a man - anywhere. He took on the "form of a man". I could go on further and in fact would be safe to say that I would buy a car for anyone - the same model as mine and brand new if they could show me just one scripture in either OT or NT that hints that Jesus had any human essence.
