That being said, the Rory & Mal split, because of HOW it happened is the EXACT reason I stopped watching JBP, and I JUST came back in the last couple months, and it still aint like it was. When they left, I still rooted for the Eagles & stayed watching because I am a fan of THE EAGLES, I just admired the players. Same with this pod. If Joe was ever good at anything its been his way with words, for good or for bad. While Joe was talking paperwork throughout the Spotify debacle he should've been crystal clear with what the brand entailed business wise, splits and all to his cohosts who stated they requested paperwork. Joe should have been smart enough to have recognized or investigated how his cohosts viewed their ownership of the brand they represented with their names on the title of graphics. Joe as an owner of a brand didn't do his due diligence in establishing a complete understanding with his partners. Foul or misguided behavior I'm not sure but when Rory and Mal didn't show up it was over for me. Ish and Ice are cool but the chemistry from the original cast are unmatched throughout any podcast I've listened to. Joe was right when he said HIS fanbase didn't abandon him after they left. In my case he’s right. I watched all of Joe’s podcasts and shows before and after Rory &Mal. He makes good content. I don't really care what side characters are on, as long as the show is good. Everyday Struggle, The Pull up, and the show on Revolt with Remy (the name escapes me).
