Thanks for talking about this. I have seen a ton of facebook advertising for this game. Many negative comments associated with this. In my opinion, Ai art is theft. I want to support human artists when I back a project. Been following this campaign prelaunch called Deep Regrets. I love all the hand drawn fish. Wonder's of the First feels Soul-less. I really wouldn't recommend using Ai art in a final product. Maybe when your play testing but never in the final release.

The whole campaign just seems super shady, the small number of backers that put in a ton of money just really seems like friends of the company padding the numbers or a crazy amount of speculation.

Did you guys read the back story of the creator? He’s a failed crypto / NFT grifter. Tabletopnews did a story on him and he seems like someone I wouldn’t want to support.

You’re right, it does seem like this game kinda came out of nowhere. But I can say, after playtesting it for over a week now, it’s a great game. The game is snappy, fresh, and a whole lot of fun. I think it’s going to be big.

Whole thing seems really sketchy me. If I had backed it and then seen that kicking rocks video. I'd have pulled out just because he seems like an arrogant jerk. (but it would take a lot to get me to support AI art, so I can't see myself having backed it)

Their website has rules and print+play decks that anyone can download and playtest. If you end up hating the game, that's fine. If you end up loving the game, that's fine. But don't judge the game until you've tried it, and certainly don't lie about what it is. It's a real game with real players who actually enjoy it, and that's why it raised so much so quickly on Kickstarter.

This is ridiculous! They just take half an hour to tell the AI to spit out some nice looking pictures and then sell that for a million dollar without gameplay, ridiculous...

I’m the game design lead. There is lots of gameplay content on the site including videos and print and play rules and cards. We had built up a big Discord community prior to launch so it got a fast start. The campaign has been resubmitted and will go live May 14. Hope you can review the game play. A lot of people love it.

You guys really need to do a better job of explaining the issue here. You're just throwing out the term NFT, talking about the use of AI, etc. without giving background or explaining what the terms mean and what the actual problems/issues are here. This is a very difficult or impossible video to follow for those who are not already knowledgeable about this stuff or keep up to date on everything kickstarter.
