Brando is correct about who runs Hollywood. Specifically the founders of the major American film studios. This is taught in film classes and their values shaped the values of film and by extension, American society. It’s no hate towards the average person and more about how negatively this group of higher ups has affected society. And I agree with his point of needing to boycott immoral media. People don’t know how to boycott and don’t see the power their spending has.

There’s a video on them on KZfaq, I forget who uploaded it or the title but yes, they were Eastern European Jews, mostly Polish and they suffered a lot during war in their mother country and came here and did perpetuated the evil they fled. I learned the same thing when I was in film school and I was reminded of that after Kayne’s comments, because that’s what he was referring to. What we know about the “American Dream” came from the original studio heads. It’s a tragedy really.

I have a binge eating disorder and I wish there was more awareness. It’s more than just loving food, it’s the moment stress kicks in from not eating and so you eat in panic until your sometimes nauseous. It’s so hard because once you quit alcohol or other drugs you can find ways to avoid it, but you can’t avoid food! It’s hard, I know there was some humor in the video. But I really felt bad because I know how he feels and how hard it actually is to stop binge eating. I’ve been in therapy and I’m on meds and even then it’s hard, but I’m glad there’s more treatments for it now vs how others treated food addiction back then. 😢

I’m a young Je3, and for those times I don’t think Brando was wrong. He was speaking culturally, that other cultures could be portrayed in a bad/stereotypical way, but not the Je3s since there are some head honchos that are Je3ish. Yet Hollywood has always been kinda trash, no matter who is in charge. Even during those times (and Karine’s other wonderful videos will show) famous actors and actresses had to coverup their Je3ish identities. They were terrible to everybody and their own. As for why there wasn’t really a negative stereotype, I think in short, we’re boring lol there’s not this mysticism they could spin. I mean we had Streisand, with her “ugly”/beautiful face. But we didn’t have a monumental human rights fight like African Americans, Asian Americans, Native Americans, which old Hollywood made movies of. I agree with Brando that they let these terrible stereotypes continue, which absolutely bred more bigotry and racsm.

I've been binge watching your channel and I love it. The most shocking thing to me was how he was a binge eater! I actually laughed at certain parts when you were telling about how he would eat certain foods like two chickens, for example. I had no clue about this at all until watching this video!

Yes Marlo was horrible at remembering/reading his lines. The director of The God Father stated that they had cue cards for him during filming. He improved a lot in that movie.

He was such amazing actor and omg so handsome too. I remember him in, Guys and Dolls plus The Godfather also. Then later on, The Freshman and The Last Tango In Paris, The Score. I don't care about who he was with, I just care about that he was amazing man and a good man too. I did see a lot more of his movies also. Thank you again for sharing this video with us all 👍👍👍👍

Karine, your videos should be required viewing for anyone who wants to go into entertainment especially in Hollywood and aspires to be a star. There's such beauty like Brando's because the man was gorgeous, there's glamour but there are dark demons. I watch all your videos (always so good) and wonder why people thirst for fame.

The Most Gorgeous guy Ever & the Greatest Actor in film/cinema history. ♥️♥️ He was absolutely right about who runs Hollywood & I can see what he means. Brando's acting coach & mentor was Stella Adler who was Jewish & introduced Brando to her family (she had Brando move in with her family while he was studying at the Actor's Studio) & Brando became an honorary Jew. honorary Jew

Good video. Double check that bit about Pryor meeting Brando on the set of the Wild Ones. That is a 1953 film and Pryor would have been 12 or 13. I don't see him listed as a child actor, but you never know.

The woman who refused Brandos award, was not Indian. Her sisters were interviewed in 2022. She was Mexican at best. She lived in a fantasy world according to her sisters.

Littlefeather was blacklisted by Hollywood and never worked again. Nearly half a century later, Littlefeather would return to the Academy as a guest of honor on September 17, 2022. That’s iconic to me and don’t forget Clint Eastwood mocked her by saying that he was presenting the award on behalf of “all the cowboys shot in all the John Ford Westerns.” Little feather deserves a movie despite the haters , y’all show why Little Feather did what she did
