I use Via Browser on Androids, Edge on Laptops & Desktop. Fairly Edge is better.

Google contributed a lot in terms of opensource materials and ad platforms. If they decided to change their business model, many won't be able to be as productive and trained as they are now.

Well tbh edge is better than chrome, but i use chrome for normal browsing (yea so it's primary browser for me) but for studying and researching it's edge as it has so many tools. Btw if you are wondering 3rd is brave i rarely use it this days

I am using new Bing everyday. And I should say it is toooo good. You'll get answer for almost everything and it can find the answer and related links for almost anything I asked.

That's the point, buddy. Bing+Chat is so much better than just Google, and I mean the entire integration of the AI elements into not just search but web browsing as well. Google has a problem on its hands. It can't integrate AI to its search like Microsoft has done without altering its current search business model, which, if they do will significantly affect its bottom line, so they will definitely move cautiously. Microsoft, on the other hand, hasn't held back in its integration of AI in search and a lot of its products. If they can increase profits from Bing enough to offset R&D and its massive investment in OpenAI, then that will do. Alphabet currently generates about 60% of its profit from Google, so its very slippery slope they are on. Google is the 1000lbs gorilla in search and AI, so I'm keenly watching to see how they handle this.

@@reptoslicer24 You can, Currently its 10 chats per session..meaning you can continue ask anything and will get replies and can follow-up upto 10 times on the same topic. After which it will stop and we will have to initiate a new session. Initially when it was launched it was unlimited, but soon people started to abuse the Bing chat with manipulative questions after which Microsoft will have to limit the session.

Bing chat saved me so much time in the last two weeks that is scary. If you use it for the right kind of searches it's like having super powers.

Whether Google uses AI or not its their choice. Between they developed first neural model (10yrs ago) and discarded it because it affects their revenue. Microsoft literally owns OpenAI (unofficially) and its their momentum now

They are using it as a base and improving it. Microsoft edge edges out (pun intended) chrome in every aspect, be it the performance, the looks, the features. Also google invented ai transformers but didn't invest much in ai while Microsoft did. Complacent behaviour will kill Google's dominance

Microsoft humble nature of borrowing from their competitors and making them best is the polar opposite of what nokia and now google did, trying to be independent, complacent and not investing or using other services as base. My bad, the chat function is integrated in search. And all those chat replies pop-up above the links. For better visual representation, we did all of this in the chat menu.

It is already integrated buddy, the reply comes in the right side whenever you search, it will go into chat ui if you ask follow up question regarding the context of the former question

The thing is, google has neither released bard nor integrated it into the search engine yet on the public release. And i totally agree bing is best hands down for now. Although I have my criticism on ChatGPT for not denying on the information it doesn't have. It always cooks up something and answers the questions 99 percent regardless of the relevancy.

Google will lose even with a better ai Ai based search is very expensive compared to traditional search to run the service In Microsoft case the can only gain customers so no problem Google need to spend 3-10 times more to keep same number of users

In tech world, nobody can afford to be complacent. They are atleast 1 year late, that's a lot in this tech world. They can't catch up bing.
