Brandon, I'm impressed with your lights installation. For a guy who a few months ago claimed you didn't know anything about construction you are doing a darn good job. The plus is you are teaching your children that it is ok to take on an unfamiliar task and learn how to do new things. Your handling the scary situation was right on. No one should question your reaction. As a trained Law Enforcement Officer you did exactly what needed to be done.

I also would suggest using green frog painters tape when you get ready to paint the white part of the ceiling. You can tape a straight line on the dark paint and paint up against the green tape. It has a chemical that resists paint give you a beautiful straight edge.

Brandon, they sell a little mini roller and tray. It’s easier to run it real close to the ceiling without touching it. It’s one of my favorite tools. Maybe look for one? I think you’ll love it. Great job.

STEPHANIE INSTEAD OF BLOCKING THE WINDOWS..CRAFT STORES, WALMART and DOLLAR TREE (if you have by you) sell in crafts section like CONTACT PAPER IN VARIOUS COLORS YOU CAN PUT ON THE WINDOWS THAT IF YOU GET A LIGHTER COLOR WILL STILL LET LIGHT IN AND GIVE YOU PRIVACY just an inexpensive way I found that works 😊. Nice job on the lights. Going to be quite a bit of touch up on the ceiling paint. May want to get some painter’s tape for next time lol. Bathroom vanity looks nice and I know it will be appreciated by everyone!

A dimmer switch would be good for the living room. With the door, taking a little off the top and the bottom will, most times, work better.

You wont want to hear this but when painting your walls cut in the ceiling and corners first but only as much as you can cover with the corners still wet. You won't need to be so close to the ceiling and if the cut in area is still wet when you roll the wall then it will blend in just fine. There are many professional painters with tutorials on KZfaq if you don't understand what I have tried to explain.

Brandon, the little house is coming along quite nicely! The new vanity and sink looks great in the bathroom. I was so happy for you when you installed those four ceiling lights and they all turned on. It looks great! I'm sorry you had that mishap with the drill, but thankful it wasn't worse. I could really see your training when the door started opening at 3AM and you didn't know who it was. Your training was also evident in how quickly you holstered your weapon when you saw it was Stephanie. I hope Braylee is okay after that hornet sting. Those hurt a lot, but thankfully she is not allergic, as is Kayson. I'm also glad you all were able to have a sit down family meal together for the first time in a while. Family being together is beautiful to see. I enjoyed watching Stephanie helping Addison with her schoolwork, too. I am sending lots of hugs and best wishes to you all, especially after you recover from losing Reba the little donkey and her baby. Take care!

Get a fire extinguisher for Layton's room. Tell him not to fight any fire but to use it if he needs to get out. Doss Farms just had their shed burn in the middle of the night. They all got out safe but the shed to house is toast. Fire started in bathroom wall.

God definitely was protecting you, like you said that could of been a very bad situation with your arm. You gotta be ready at any given time, you never know these days and you are trained. Protecting your family is utmost important. At night we keep one close by in case of intruder. Tiny cabin looking awesome! Glad your moving in for the winter. You'll have warmth and lights!❤❤❤

You did a great job with the install of the sink and everything you are becoming a really great handyman / carpenter LOL and as far as pulling the gun it was just a gut reaction that you have been trained from, I will be praying for the kids stings and your cuts that they heal. Never use TP to wipe a cut the fibers get in and can cause infection. This happened to my mom and she had to have surgery to remove micro pieces of TP and infection out of the cut. Just an FYI Glad all turned out ok!

Hi Pray your injury heals fast and without complications. Please don’t block any exit from any room. You need two forms of ingress and egress from every room in case of emergency. You should use blue painters tape and a long edge tool on the walls to protect them from getting white paint or paint runs on the walls. Otherwise, it's looking good!

As someone who is friends with many cops, you did follow proper procedures. If it were me, I'd do exactly as you did because the only people who'd come to the door at 3 a.m. is a family member coming to tell me there is an extreme emergency, or its a thug up to no good.

Looking awesome, just make sure your using the correct type of cam lights, some are not meant to be near insulation. Definitely want to prevent a fire, Chad's tiny home experience was very scary, but a fire can happen in any home.

Some great progress made in this video. You are almost finished! May I suggest using painters tape along the walls before you repaint the ceiling? That will give you a clean line and keep the white on the ceiling only. Also, don't forget a smoke/CO2 detector as well.

🤠 Your response to the situation showed both training and control. A gun is useless if the user waits to draw it until after the threat is manifested. That door knob turning and seeing the shadow you saw.....I would of spooked too, especially knowing where your family was. Poor Steph was prolly half asleep and didn't think to knock or alert you in some way. Thank goodness you are trained. Poor Braylee.....I would imagine she was upset for a good bit after getting stung in her sleep. The tiny home is coming along beautifully!

Branden and Stephanie, are you going to move the merchandise out of the tiny cabin? You would have more room. That way you can add a couch and a tv for your family since you all will be living in the tiny cabin until your house is built. The tiny cabin is coming along nicely.

BRANDON YOU GOT VERY LUCKY WITH THAT SAW BLADE, YOU COULD HAVE DONE A LOT MORE DAMAGE THAN YOU DID. I THINK WHAT SAVED YOU WAS YOUR SHIRT. Now you need to split a wire somewhere and put y'all a ceiling fan in the center hole . You will need it in the summer and winter to help with circulating the heating and cooling distribution. ❤❤ Thank God your arm wasn't any worse. Hope it heals quickly. ❤
