Red Bull Straight Rhythm 2017's Two-Stroke Shootout was built around the hype of three riders coming to race the old pre-mixers: Ryan Villopoto, Chad Reed and of course Ronnie Mac. All the moto fans were talking about who would win, but did anyone predict Ronnie Mac making it to the finals?! No. And they were all wrong. The 2-stroke finals put Mac’s #69 machine against Steinke and his KTM250 in an all-out battle for the title.

Glad to see 2T going down at RBSR! Bringing them back for all of us and Hard Enduro... best bike to ride for a normal guy and pros. Worse engine failure you'll have is changing your sparkplug in a day or riding on an older bike that wants a 42:1 ratio. Red Bull is doing it right!

Steinke deserves more credit and so does his KTM, both well ahead of the curve, when he needed to he just opened up that 250, atleast 2 others were using 300s! I’d like to see some time comparisons between Steinke and Musquin, you have a no name rider apart from KZfaq riding a 2stroke 125 usually! Yet here time wise vs Factory pros on Factory bikes talking the 450s and 250s here and I bet his times aren’t that much slower, yet where is his recognition and KTMs 2stroke! Just think about that, that’s a phenomenal achievement in its own right! Yet Ronnie and no disrespect to him he’s made himself famous though goofing off, Steinke backed his up won and beat all, game done!

MOTO 809 Yep I know who heRonnie Mac is, I will have to spell it out obviously, I didn’t say Ronnie Mac rode a 125! If you read it properly I was talking about Gared Steinke (GS)he (again spell it out) millennials don’t read I forgot, “GS” races primarily a 125, I was talking about his (GS) KZfaq channel, frankly I haven’t heard much of Steinke before that. I know who Ronnie Mac is and his pro career and his channel, I’ll re read what I wrote again as Apple and KZfaq change words not user friendly to mobile devices. but I was talking about Steinke (GS) in those references, I’m only comparing Ronnie Mac because he is getting all the attention, not saying he shouldn’t get it either but Steinke deserves no less and probably deserves more and again as I said taken in context of his background ver Greg Albertson a 20 position something pro rider alias Ronnie Mac vs an pretty basic privateer GS in race results at pro level racing 2t vs 4t he’s done amazing. I love Ronnie Macs videos and also seeing him do well on the fire breathing 98Cr he rides better on that bike than he ever did in SX or outdoors of 250fs and 450fs! Yet and it seems both media and people like you like fake stuff over the real stuff these days, I think Rhyno Ryan Hughes says it best today people raise participants not winners.
