I bet he wrapped the bagel up like he said, went to his "desk" area, unwrapped the bagel to eat it, then he thought "hey, I should go get a drink", left the newly unwrapped bagel on the filing cabinet, and when he returned he forgot that he had unwrapped it himself.

I listened to this live - the whole exchange was hilarious. Amazing how Stern & his staff can take something so trivial and make it unbelievably entertaining. Also, I'm sure someone did screw with Ronnie's bagel. I would too if it provided this type of entertainment on an otherwise ordinary Wednesday.

Fred ain’t making millions, not even close, they had a discussion once on the air about if anyone could retire and live on the money they have saved up, granted this conversation was well over 10 years ago, but Fred said that he couldn’t and doesn’t have even a million in his bank account, but I think things haven’t changed, got worse if anything. But sure, fun gig anyway, best part of the show the last years is Fred doing Ronnie, with or without a puppet.
